I never leave reviews but I like this so much that I had to. I am not a professional. I decided to start doing my nails myself at home to save money. I got this kit because it has everything that you need to get started. The picture is my second time using the kit. I am very pleased with the results. I gave myself this manicure two weeks ago and I think that it is holding up very well.I wanted to add some colors so I purchased more gel polish from a different brand and it was way too runny. It made an absolute mess. This polish is perfect and this is definitely the starter kit to try.For this manicure I used two coats of the pink glitter over clear poly gel. The colors are slightly different than shown in the pictures but they are all beautiful.

The first photo is the day I painted them and the second is a week later. This stuff is amazing. I did double base, color, and top and it seems to work. So much better than spending the money at a nail salon.

This kit was my first diy gels. It sold me on never going to a nail salon again! I can't use regular polish without smearing it all over & looking like a toddler got a hold of a marker.THIS KIT IS WORTH IT FOR EVEN JUST THE TOOLS & LAMP!!!This was great. Gel is slightly thicker, cures in under a minute so I don't have to worry about making a mess & 10 attempts to do my nails like regular polish.I bought a nail steamer also off Amazon. It steams acetone & my gel comes right off with the least damage of any method.I have fallen in love with gel & do my nails at least every 3 weeks. No more messy regular polish or expensive salon gel/dip nails.Replacement polish can be found inexpensively from Amazon or Sally's(cheaper) Beauty discount/closeout section in-store.

First time to use gel nail polish -- picked Vishine because of the many high ratings.NB: I don't have any other experience with gel polish to compareI prepped my nails as directed -- the prep tools included were just fineI applied the base coat as directed;I applied the burgundy/eggplant color polish as directed ... I did 3 coats of the color polish totalI applied the matte top coat as directed.I will say that the LED hurt for the top coat, not the others, I don't know if that's normal / typical / expected.Despite applying 3 coats of the color polish & being careful not to glop it on, my nails were streaky -- I wasn't happy with the look. The bottles of polish are small so I don't know how long one would last if I have to apply 5 layers to each nail.Taking off the polish didn't go as expected either -- applied 100% acetone soaked cotton ball to my nails for 20 min TWICE -- and still part of my nail came off with the polish. If I use Vishine again, I'll just use my nail dremmel to remove the polish.

Everything that comes in this kit is perfect! The colors are great, takes about 3-4 coats for the color to be completely opaque, but the glitter just took one coat to be perfect for what I did. Bottles are super small, but also a good amount to get started until you can pick what colors u want to get..All the implements, files, striping tape, dotter, French manicure pieces and gems are perfect!I would say that each coat takes about 2 mins to dry (at least that's what it says on the back of the box, and the "no wipe" top coat, mimics the "top it off" gelish provides and needs the wipe.I would 100000% recommend this to someone who is looking to get started and wants to try out at home gel manicures. Its got everything you need, I would also recommend getting the gelish basic starter kit with a top, base, PH bond, cuticle oil, cleanser, and artificial nail removal, just to have the basics with this set.Buuuut this set alone is a good buy. It really does mimic and come close to the items you get in that (gelish) kit. (Minus cleanser and remover, which u can replace with acetone and rubbing alcohol)

I had this lamp for about 6 months and it no longer works. It turns on just fine and appears to be working but the lamp isn't curing my nails anymore, they're still wet when I take them out. It used to work perfectly though.

I wouldnt say it's very easy to use, unless you are accustomed to painting your nails. It definitely takes some practice, but once you get it down, it works super well.

Works very well. The kit has a lot included and plus the colors are cute, so I’m very happy with this purchase. Exited to start doing my own nails.

Being a complete beginner to gel nails I was quite wary about purchasing a kit. However, this was so reasonable I decided to give it a trey. And WOW I'm so glad I did. It is so easy to use with great instructions. It comes with a good selection of accessories for when you become a little more confident. I would have liked more practise sticks but they are cheap enough to buy separately. Overall a very good buy.

Overall, I would say that this is a good product.As it was my first time trying to do gel nails, I spent a lot of time doing research before deciding which set to buy, and I have to say I am quite happy with this purchase.The set comes with a UV/LED lamp (and UK plug), 6 gel colors, 1 base coat and 2 top coats (1 matte, 1 glossy), various manicure tools and other embellishing items.I have not yet tried the matte top coat, so I cannot confirm or deny if the quality is slightly worse than the glossy coat. However what I can say is that out of all the 6 colors, only one (the one I ended up using) was kind of gloopy. The rest seemed to be much easier to spread and had no clumps in them. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because of the quality of that gloopy gel and the fact that only the matte top coat is 10ml, while the base coat and glossy coat are 8ml just like the rest of the colors. I was expecting the all the base/top coats to be 10ml, but I guess that is on me.With regards to the quality of the gel itself, I would say that if you follow the instructions and use thin layers, the nails will last long enough. Mine were extremely short when I did them, so I wasn’t able to properly “seal” them without putting gel on my fingers, so after 6 days two of them had chipped. However, it has now been 10 days and all of them are still in place (except for the two that had chipped). But I am sure that my next try will last longer, not that my nails have grown.If your gel chips or peels off after a few days, I think it’s safe to say that you haven’t applied the product correctly.I am looking forward to expanding my color collection and getting some glitter gel/powders to try new styles now!Side note: the bottom part of the lamp is magnetic. It came off the second time I used it, and I panicked thinking it had already broken, but luckily I realized it wasn’t damaged and it had simply come off

I have previously had my nails done professionally but never attempted gel nails myself. Reviews for this product were good so I thought it was worth a go. Yes it was! Toenails have now been on for 2 weeks and look great. Painted my fingernails before going camping and they lasted 10 days. I have removed them today and repainted. Highly recommended product. Easy to use even for beginners like me!

First time doing this myself and the product is pretty good , definitely worth a try until I can get back to my nail tech , the gels are easy to go on and there is a step by step guide on how to apply . Delivery was super fast too . My preferred gel is Gelux but these gels are a great temporary fix during lockdown.

Amazing value for money and very easy to use. I’m going to need to buy a few more colours but it’s still amazing how much you get for your money with this set. Suitable for teens or adults, really pleased with this.
