An annual crested cockscomb, Celosia Temple Belles Mix produces blooms in hues of oranges, pinks, purples and reds. It is perfect for display or for dried arrangements. Sowing: sow indoors 6 - 8 weeks before last frost. Celosias do not like to have their roots disturbed, so sow 3 - 4 seeds 1/4" deep in lightly moistened, sterile seed- starting mix in earth-friendly peat pots. Cover the pots with plastic wrap & put in a warm place (70 - 80F). Germination is between 10 - 15 days. Remove plastic daily to let plants breathe. Spritz soil with room temp water to keep moist. Once leaves appear, place in sunny area or under grow lights. Transplant to garden when night temps are above 55F. Sowing outdoors: plant seeds 8" apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Keep soil moist. Does best in hot, slightly dry conditions, but will wilt if overly dry.

I have received but not planted yet but I have had red ones for 2 years and they are beautiful. when they die if you scrape the seeds off they will grow back next year. just scrape where you have them planted and watch them multiply the next year.
