This review is for the Lavish Home 72-1515 LED Sunlight Floor Lamp with Dimmer Switch, 5-Feet. I don't know if it's Amazon's fault or the vendor's fault, but someone must fix the website for this item 72-1515 (ASIN B00PB94PCO).FIRST, they must delete the following statement from the 72-1515 Product Description, "The linear fluorescent bulb provides bright, natural light perfect for working, reading and more." This statement is FALSE. The lamp 72-1515 does NOT have a fluorescent bulb; it is an LED lamp!SECOND, this lamp 72-1515 was first available, according to the website, on November 6, 2014. BUT the website included more than a thousand reviews BEFORE November 2014, reviewing obviously a different floor lamp. Just about all of the "Most Helpful" reviews were dated before November 2014 and DO NOT apply to the LED floor lamp. Of the almost 2 thousand reviews, only about 60 are on the LED floor lamp.THIRD, the fundamental reason why there is so much confusion is that the same website is used for the LED lamp as well as the fluorescent lamp. Once you select a color other than Dimmer Black, you are getting a fluorescent lamp. To get the LED lamp, you have to select the color Dimmer Black, even though the product description talks of a fluorescent bulb.Confused? So was I. I just took a chance in ordering it, and if it didn't come out LED, I was going to return it citing a misleading web description. But I'm glad I ordered Dimmer Black and got what I wanted, the LED floor lamp. Still confused??? Bend the ears of Amazon, maybe someone would straighten this website out.SUMMARY: 5 stars for the LED floor lamp, and NEGATIVE STARS FOR THE AWFUL WEBSITE!!!AMAZON, ARE YOU LISTENING?

The people running this site are very thoughtful and friendly, their correspondence was always prompt and friendly; every site should be so well run. The light itself is well built as far as lights of this type are concerned. Heavy enough to be solid that light is steady on the floor but not too heavy that it is still easy to move to different locations if needed. The brightness of the light to me is perfect, not to bright that you find it blinding yet just perfect for reading, sewing or just general purpose lighting like for that dark corner of the room this light will make it bright and cheery. I have bought 3 of these lights from this site one at a time, they all came in perfect condition and easy to put together. When my soulmate passed away in Dec 2017, my/his coworkers sent me a sympathy basket with 5 different house plants. After 8 months I realized I needed to repot them separately in order for them to survive. I chose the 3 healthiest ones to repot but, I live in an apt. with only NW facing windows. The natural sunlight wasn’t enough, they started going downhill, and I knew I needed to get them “sun”. This lamp is amazing- not only did it save all 3 of my plants (they’re growing new leaves every week, it’s such a drastic different from their former state.) This lamp can be tilted & turned (I use it for myself if I’m on the couch writing/reading at night.) It was very easy to put together and has 4 brightness settings. I just brought home a Guinea pig & a mini lop rabbit a day ago (both young- 3.5 Months & 8?Weeks) they’re far from the window, so I plan on using it over their pen for a boost of sunlight. All around great product; multi functional, saved my plants the first week of use, easy to set up, and not pricy for the quality...I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So far so good. The light is easy to assemble, though the instructions are only IKEA-like, and the neck section is a bit challenging to screw in. The base is an enclosed solid plastic thing, screwed in, so this support will last. I had an old lamp I ended up discarding because the base was a block of concrete-like material that crumbled into pieces, and my rigging of other materials eventually failed.The LED lights are nice. The switch is a bit hard to get used to, but once you do, you just tap it once to turn it on, then additional taps to cycle it thru 4 brightness levels. The cord seems long enough to meet most needs. The bendable neck should meet more needs to get the light where you want it.If you are looking for a replacement for a covered lamp however, I would not recommend this. My old floor lamp lit up the room, while this has light only on one side, and it does not light up the room like a floor lamp. I think this is probably best served as a reading lamp next to a bed or chair. Your opinion may vary. All told, it seems to be a good value for decent quality.

I love this lamp. This lamp has several levels of light that go from a calm, low level, good for just checking something with a quick look, to intensely bright, good for close work. It was very easy to assemble - the stand parts just twist together, and the electrical parts just clip together. There are basic instructions that can be easily followed. And I love that it's just a finger touch to turn it on and off. The gooseneck part makes it easy to cast the light wherever I want it, whether I'm drawing, painting, sewing, embroidering, or reading. It's also light enough that if I want to move it to another location to do something else with better light, it's easy to do - unplug, lift, move and plug in elsewhere. I've done this already in putting together an Ikea cabinet. I suspect I'll end up buying another one for the room where I do machine sewing. This is the LED version, black. It seems well made and sturdy, also.

I love this product. It is great in my sewing room in the winter when you need a bit more light. It is very bright and easy to direct with the gooseneck arm. If you want a good light That is bright this is the one for you.

Tiene un solo defecto. Al ensamblarla, no debes moverla de un lugar a otro por la parte alta del tubo porque la rosca del ensamblaje se debilita y se puede llegar a torcer. Si la quieres trasladar, tómala con cuidado de la parte de abajo del tubo, por debajo de la rosca de ensamblaje. Teniendo cuidado con este tema, los ajustes que tiene de luz resultan muy convenientes y la luz que emite es buenísima para tejer, leer, escribir, etc. Muy recomendable.

Ordered this in an attempt to increase my vitamin D, while working in the basement during quarantine. Heard others using similar products, but no real observations of change in their mood, as many of these products claim. Not sure if it's because I was looking to see a change in mood since working in the basement over the last few months, however, have noticed increased productivity when I use the lamp over my desk. Appreciate the varied levels of lighting through the dimmer switch. Recommend it, especially if you're working in a place with limited sunlight.
