Really do like the American made K Bar. The Blade is something different for me, but the quality of build is very good. Its as expected. great trade.

Could not recommend a better knife
The KA BAR should be priced 3-4 times what it is. And this dogs head edition is beautiful. Great value, great product

Excellent keepsake for Veterans
I just got my knife from Amazon and I love it. I didn't know this knife even existed until I found it while surfing through Amazon's website. Being a Vietnam Veteran this knife will be a cherished keepsake to me and I'm glad that I got it before they were all gone. This knife is 100% American made and worth the price. Thank you Amazon and KaBar.

It is a beautiful piece of workmanship
Lost my Army Ka Bar knife I used with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam, and my wife bought this one as a gift for me. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship, so this one goes on display with my medals and patches...but, I loved it so much that I wanted one I could use in the field...so I bought myself another plain Ka Bar with US ARMY logo on the scabbard, and marked US ARMY on the blade. Still made in the U.S. by the same manufacturers as the originals.

nice solid knife
Bought this as a gift for a veteran of Viet Nam. I thought it was well made and the sheath was quite handsome also. This is a commemorative knife for display so writing about the durability of the printing on the blade is not really applicable. BUT, if you had to use the knife it is a good solid piece as Kabars are famous for. It was well received. If you know an Army Vet buy him one as a token of appreciation. They have them for other branches and military actions.

Beautiful knife
It's a beautiful knife, i am going to put in a shadow box and give it to my cousin who is a Vietnam Veteran (66-67) as a token of my appreciation for his service to our Country! And as a welcome home gift, a welcoming home he should have gotten 46 years ago.
