U.S. Divers Junior Regal Mask, Trigger Fins and Laguna Snorkel Combo Set

This is a great set for kids. My 8 year old daughter loves it. The mask fits tight and doesn't leak like other masks that she's had. The carrying case is great for keeping everything together and letting it dry. The fins are good quality and have stood up to my child's abuse pretty well. My only reason for not giving this set 5 stars is because none of the items in this set float. They all sink. I just bought a new set to replace an identical set after my daughter lost her mask and snorkel in a lake right before our camping trip. She was holding the mask while swimming and got tired and felt like she wasn't going to make it back to the dock with the mask causing drag. She's only eight, got scared and dropped it because she thought she was going to drown. Darn it. Dad was right there but she's eight and was scared so . . . . . she did the right thing. I realize you normally don't want this type of diving equipment to be buoyant, but with a set so obviously made for small children, the sinking issue was disappointing.

My grandson loves this set. I thought he would go mostly for the snorkel, not the fins so much but I was wrong. He loves loves loves the fins and uses them much more than the snorkel. The snorkel works just fine, he just loves the fins. He's learning to swim and the fins give him speed. I won't even discuss how darned cute he looks when he puts everything on and jumps in his pool. The snorkel works well, the flappy thing closes so no water can get in. I had one problem - one of the fin straps broke immediately while putting it on. We think it was broken when shipped. Amazon replaced the set but its a hassle. I have to send the broken set back, which I'll do this week. Download a return slip, go to UPS, send the damaged set back…yuck. But its worth it. The replacement set seems to work fine….so far. May need to update if the fin breaks again.

Gift for 7 & 9 yr old boys. They loved them. Mask fits well. They are still getting used to the fins and have kicked them off a couple times as they were getting used to them (maybe they aren't tightening the straps down enough). They have not complained that the mask or fins are uncomfortable. Snorkle seems fine. My only complaint, but maybe this is normal - I wish the fins floated. Do other fins float?? Not sure. We've only used these in a pool so far, but if we are out in the ocean and a fin comes off, it may sink and be gone forever. The travel bag is nice as well. All in all, the quality seems very good for the money, and I'm happy with the purchase.

Bought these for a trip to St. Croix. They worked pretty well for the trip. My youngest son did very well with the mask- my oldest (6th grader) complained but was probably a little bit of user error. If planning on doing serious snorkeling you may want to break down and buy a fitted to your child's face, but for one week of snorkeling or playing around these are great. My youngest son wears a size 5 big kid shoe (he is 9) and the smaller ones of these fit his feet. My older son- 11- wears between a 6 or 7 big kid shoe and I should of bought the larger one (I think the masks are the same size). He could not get his foot in well and we had to buy him other fins in St. Croix.

We purchased this set for our ten year old son to use on a recent cruise to the caribbean.He had previously used our adult size set but the mouthpiece is larger and uncomfortable which caused cancer sores in his mouth plus and the mask could not get a good seal.This set solved all these problems. The mask and fins were super easy to resize to fit him comfortably.We spent hours at the beach and he was in the water almost the entire time. My 13 year old daughter also used the set and felt it was easier to use than the adult size.I loved being able to spot him in the water due to the bright green tip of his mask and the green on his flippers.The mesh carry bad was convenient to keep everything together.I highly recommend this product.

Bought for my 8 year old son that has a body type of a 10 year old. It was perfect for him and he enjoyed hours in the water. The bright colors helped me locate him while we were in the water. The only downfall was the snorkel-to-mask clip, it broke pretty quickly but we just used a rubber band and everything was perfect. If you need to get your kid a set, this is perfect that has everything you would want. I bought the neoprene socks to avoid any blisters but I do not think it was necessary. The mask was perfect size for his head, I just recommend using mask scrub and anti-fog. The bag was perfect and he was able to carry all his gear by himself.

We got this for our 8-year-old son for Christmas. We live in a warm climate so he uses it much of the year. It is quite durable so far and my son loves the colors. The mask is unbelievable - doesn't leak AT ALL. And the snorkel has a lid on it so water doesn't come in when you're under water. The fins are kind of in two connecting parts. The foot area and the flipper kind of pivots up and down. They work good. The bag it all comes in is mesh and perfect for the beach.

The face mask fit was good. My child didn't complain about any water leaking into the mask.The fins are fine too, but she was not comfortable using them. It was her first time. She preferred to just use the face mask and the snorkel. So you may want to consider buying a set without fins to save a few bucks.I did break the plastic clip that holds the strap on the mask to the vertical tube of the snorkel on day one. Not a big deal. Use a rubber band to keep the snorkel tube in place.
