(4589) IFR6T-11 Laser Iridium Spark Plug, Pack of 1

They are genuine NGK spark plugs. I verified this by contacting customer support on the NGK website. They were very responsive and polite. The product arrived at my door in a soft envelope, so the individual boxes that each spark plug comes in were a bit squished. No apparent damage to the plugs and the firing end is protected with a stiff cardboard ring. NGK did comment in the email reply "Please do not use anti-seize or lubricant on NGK spark plugs and torque them to specifications." I believe this is due to the nickle plating on the threads.

Just installed them today. Car is running better. Not sure about Longevity yet but from what I’ve read NGK are good ones. Only thing that upset me was how they were shipped. They were shipped individually in a box with 5qts of oil and a heavy oil filter. When I opened the box 3 of the 6 spark plugs were out of their individual boxes rolling around free.

Perfect fit for my car, it was a very easy install using the GearWrench 80546 5/8-Inch x 6-Inch Swivel Spark Plug Socket to complete the project. The engine runs smoothly, no issues at all. Very happy with this DIY project.

What can I say... they're spark plugs and work just fine. Their direct replacement plugs for my 2005 Lexus IS300 and operate just fine. The original ones had 110k miles and still looked decent when I removed them. I highly recommend doing your homework before attempting to replace plugs on this car as it's not your normal replacement. You Tube has some decent videos on how to replace them and I recommend viewing all prior to doing the work, if you've never replaced the plugs on this particular car. Each video has a slightly different approach to doing it and you can choose which works best for you. As for the plugs? I wouldn't use anything else. They last at least 100k miles.

Dang---these Iridum plugs last forever. I pulled my orginals out at 110,000 miles and they looked like new and were in gap. My son's had 156,000 on them when he checked them last month and they also lloked like new. His were on the high side of the gap range so he regaped and put them back into his 2005 toyota sequoia V8. My 2005 Highlander V6 takes over 4 hours to install the rear 3 so there is no way I am not going to put in new ones.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the description says they come pre-gapped for my truck. When received I checked and all where between 042 and 044 while my truck calls out a gap of 032. Not a big deal, just had to press them down a little. Well made and they work. I hope I get 100K out of them.

I replaced my spark plugs due to idling issues over the past month. After three years, ten months, and 74,156 kilometers of travel, I have installed new plugs. (same brand plug used previous ) not a bad life span
