When I attempted to clean a spot on rug, color faded off the rug onto cloth, using plain water. Rug is not a cinnamon color it actually looks pink or fuchsia in color. Very disappointed. Also rug is so light that it slides across the floor.

I received what I expected

Rug looks great! It came rolled around a nice sturdy tube & tied in place. It was packaged well. It unrolled and flattened out very easily. It is not very scratchy. It goes well with all the browns and reds in our house. Highly recommend. Worth the money.

I bought this a year ago and am still pleased with it. I recently spilled about a liter of Coca Cola on it and was worried it was ruined. But it dried out fine after using a towel to dry it. Found instructions on how to dry it online. There is no visible stains on the rug although a bit if the red dye transferred to the towel - otherwise this would have 5 stars.

I used this a a fireplace rug in front of and electric 'faux fireplace' and it completes the space perfectly!

I purchased this rug to match one that I purchased from the same manufacturer about 7 years ago. I had a hard time finding the 8x10 oval. I came to Amazon, found a vendor who carried this rug and I was delighted to see that they still were manufacturing this color. Upon receipt of the rug we unpacked it and placed it in our living room We noticed there were a lot of visible knots and thought maybe we had the wrong side up, so we turned it over, only to find it actually looked worse. We flipped it back over, set a large coffee table in the center and hoped the wrinkles would "fall out" after it had been laying out for a bit. After several weeks, it still looked wrinkly. I contacted the vendor, Primitive Home Décor, and they were very responsive. Their customer service was impeccable! I took photos of the rug knots and the wrinkles and the vendor contacted the manufacturer who was agreeable to replacing the rug. The new rug is currently stretched out in our basement floor with the edges being weighted down (they were wavy when it arrived). When I compare the quality of this new rug to the quality of the rug I bought 7 years ago, there is no question, the one from 7 years ago is a much better quality. The rug looks beautifully vibrant in color but the quality just isn't what it was. I also noticed that when I empty the cup on my robot vac, it's full of red fuzz from this rug. I mentioned that to the vendor and she said the manufacturer says NOT to use a beater-bar style vac.......seriously?? Who vacuums a rug w/o a beater bar? I want to love this rug because it matches my dining room rug, but unfortunately, the quality just isn't there. On the bright side, it looks great at night time with just lamp lighting...lol! Always looking for the bright side.

The rug is very sturdy. The only problem is that it is costly to have them dry cleaned when soiled.
