Of course this along with FSOE 400 isn't the newest kid on the block but if you haven't bought the two already you probably should because they both deserve all of the praise they get. I know that neither are what you would call cheap, but when you will be listening to them repeatedly it's far better to spend twice the price than buying a cheapy that's a struggle to listen to even the once. Of course it all boils down to individual taste but I would say that both albums manage to strike a perfect balance between being overly soft, melodic and trying to be all things to all men, and too hard and not what you'd choose to listen to regularly, but I don't want to lead you into thinking that they are middle of the road. Whilst the level of praise that Aly & Fila get can sometimes seem to border on the excessive in the case of these two albums it is fully justified.

This one of the best trance albums I have. There is not much to say really about it - except the music goes straight to the heart.Both CDs are exceptional. Very powerful emotionally. You know from the first synth chords/beats that this is special/quality.I've got 'Sunrise' and their 'Trance World 2' CDs. Wish there was more of their work available on CD. (Lots of stuff on pod cast/mp3, etc.)And looking forward to 'FSOG Vol.2' and the 'Sunrise' remix album.There is something so beautiful about this record - the intensity never stops. It is in a class of its own. Love it.

I love pretty much everything that Ali and Fila do. When I wanted to buy "Painting Pyramids" I saw it was on this album and thought I may as well buy the whole thing - on an actual real CD, something I rarely do these days. I'm glad I did, almost all the tunes on here are of a very high quality and just the sort of thing I like, by a range of different artists. Maybe I am imagining it, but a lot of the tunes seem to have an Egyptian feel to them. If you like Trance and like the style of Ali & Fila you should buy this album.

...du moins de ce que j'ai pu écouter jusqu'ici.Pour les présenter brièvement, Aly & Fila sont deux égyptiens ayant été révélés au début des années 2000, évoluant depuis dans la sphère uplifting trance avec leur propre label FSOE -d'où le nom de leur show radio et de la présente compilation-, initialement subdivision de Offshore puis récupéré par Armada depuis.Pour cette compilation, deux sets orientés uplifting, plus deep et prog pour le premier, plus tech trance pour le second.Si l'on pourrait déplorer la présence de titres de remplissage, notamment vers le milieu du deuxième set, les deux sélections apportent cependant pas mal d'excellentes surprises:sur le premier, "You & me" et sa superbe ligne mélodique qui se passe largement de la partie vocale sur cette version dub ; "Atlantis" remixé par Temple One, "Paradise", "Sunrise 2010" remixé par Neptune Project, tous trois délicieusement mélodiques;sur le deuxième, les derniers titres, peak time sur "Era", à la manière d'un "Humble" mais en mieux ; "Painting pyramids", à la mélodie très orientale, bonne complémentarité mélodie/basse ; le remix uplifting du titre prog trance "Nothing else matters", tiré de l'album "Radio", excellent!Je confirme que le découpage des plages sur le deuxième CD est extrêmement mal fait.Aly & Fila ont su s'imposer dans le milieu uplifting comme une référence, grâce à leur label et leur palette de producteurs exceptionnels comme Philippe El Sisi, Den Rize & Mark Andrez, Vast Vision pour ne citer qu'eux, ainsi que la touche personnelle qu'ils instillent dans leurs productions et remixes.Voici le résultat plus que satisfaisant de leur travail d'équipe.N.B. il y a un problème tout de même: Soul & Senses "Beautiful" est la réplique exacte de Mat Zo "Rush" sorti en 2009, il faut que quelqu'un m'explique!La playlist:CD 1:1. Bereits 160 Ausgaben der Show Future Sound of Egypt gab es ihm Radio zu hören, jede Woche eine Stunde.Nun gibt es das Ding auch käuflich zu erwerben.CD 1 beginnt etwas internationaler, geht in die Richtung wie Armin van Buuren auch gerne auflegt.Ab Track 9 beginnt dann der typische Aly& Fila Sound. Uplifting Melodic Trance, das was sie am besten können und was auch so beliebt ist bei den beiden.Wo CD 1 aufgehört hat, geht es bei CD2 direkt weiter.Viele neue Tracks, die wirklich erst seied kurzem auf dem markt sind oder gar ganz neu. Immer wieder präsentieren Aly & Fila neue Tracks von vllt. unbekannten Künstlern um Ihnen eine Chance zu geben deren Sound zu präsentieren.Aber auch mitlerweile bekannte Größen der Szene sind natürlich vorhanden wie . Arctic Moon, Philippe El Sisi, Neptune Project,Björn Akesson usw....den Leihen sicher kein Begriff aber in der Trance Szene stark am kommen.So zieht sich der Faden bis zum Schluss .Ein Mix aus ALy & Fila Produktionen, Remixen und einer guten Trackauswahl machen diese Doppel CD mal wieder perfekt wie schon so oft.Bei CD 2 sollte man aber drauf achten das die Tracks meistens schon mitten im vorherigen Track beginnen.
