When I saw this pillow advertised as a super-soft, plush, low-loft pillow, equivalent to 14 ILD," I got super excited, because I've been looking FOREVER for such a pillow. Unfortunately, this pillow was quite the opposite for me, although I realize that our opinions are totally subjective, and that everyone's needs vary as well as our body type and size.As a lightweight, very petite gal with neck issues, I need a low-loft pillow on the softer side and have done a bit of research on ILD (Indentation Load Deflection), which is a measurement used to evaluate the firmness of foam pillows. The lower the ILD rating, the softer the foam. So, an ILD of 14 would be very soft, versus an ILD of 50 which is quite firm.I like the fact that these pillows are made in the USA with safe allergy-free latex and that the company supports veterans. I'm just not sure about the validity of its claim that that these pillows are super soft and have an ILD of 14. So, if you're looking for a low-loft pillow on the firmer sider, I highly recommend this pillow.

I want to start this review by saying that I have been working in health care for over 20 years and have both sold and used about every type of pillow out there. With that being said, here is my review. I originally bought this pillow because I was looking for a pillow that was made from a natural product that would have a low toxicity for health reasons.. The Vytex pillow has some weight to it, yet it is very soft. What really surprised me is how quickly it rebounds back. Much better than a memory foam pillow. This pillow is absolutely perfect for the side sleeper, yet works well for a back sleeper also. For those worried about smell, don't be. I am very sensitive to smells like plastics, perfumes ect. and I have no problem with this pillow. Yes if you bury your nose in it, you will smell the latex a little at first, but it isn't a bad smell and it doesn't make me feel sick like some of the other pillows from man made materials. Overall I really like this pillow and will now recommend it to my patients. The video I posted with this review is to show how well it rebounds back when pressure is applied.

We bought 2 of the vytex pillows and my finance loves his pillow! He says it gives his neck great support. He sleeps on his side alot. I really wanted to love the pillow especially with the hyper allergenic aspects of it. I also like to sleep on my side and found it to be to high for my liking. I've been using it for in between my legs (kinda expensive for that 😣) or when watching TV to prop up more. It does sink in some but not alot...it stays pretty firm. It's a very dense feeling pillow. It's got some weight to it. Weighs alot more then our other pillows.

Not much support compared to other latex pillows.

Vytex bedding products have been great in helping me align and support my spine. Having purchased Vytex toppers to remake two beds I decided to try their latex (super soft) pillow I like it. This pillow is soft, cushie supportive of my head and neck, but latex unlike any other bedding product is resilient it cradles your head in a different fashion from shredded or solid memory foam pillows I’ve found myself on different nights using different pillows I’m sure its not for everyone, is any pillow? BUT have I ever found the other benefits, I’ve tried using a pillow between my knees and legs to help align my lower back, this is the one! And sitting up in bed like right now with my iPad, the best. I have chosen Vytex because of their process to remove any latex allergens to the trace of undetectable. In fairness I have purchased both ‘Pure Green’ and Vytex from Amazon and both are quality latex products.

I have bought lots of latex pillows for the past 2 months. For me, my kids and husband. But this one... Is the softest and most amazing. It's not that high. Maybe 4.5 inches., guessing since it's not as high as my 5inch pillow. But it's my favorite pillow now. I love it!

This pillow IS super soft and if cushy soft is what you want...it certainly won't disappoint. I wound up having to return because hubby wanted a bit of support and this pillow was much too soft. Quality was great though and had a nice cover.

this is my second order of these pillows, I liked mine so much, I ordered some for the kids to try. It has made a big difference for the better in getting restful sleep!
