The amount of misinformation in this book is an example of how and why the followers and worshippers of Orishas in the Americas are so misinformed and lost. This book is full of dubious information, personal opinions, and speculations by the misinformed author. There is no concrete information on the real worship of Orishas. I do not recommend this very disappointing book and none of the information it contains should be taken serious by those wishing to worship the Orishas. It is a waste of money and time. There are much better books available on the Orisha subject. Overall, it is an ill attempt and an insult to the Orishas.

I read this book and learned a lot about the Gods . Many things I never knew before and I have read a lot. Worth every penny. Real information and real advice.

This book on the Black Gods New World has more information about the Orisas than other books on the subject. I totally recommend it all students on the subject.

This is an update of a previous edition. A good classic for my collection. I am familiar with the author who is an elder in our community.
