The linen is material attractive, both in texture and color (I ordered the sage). The sage is quite light - much lighter than the photo shows - although that was not a problem for me. The problems with the product as I see them are twofold.1. The tags sewn in to the back seam of the items cannot be easily removed. Nor can they be cut too close to the seam without fear of compromising the stitching. Since the material is so thin, the tag - or portion left after cutting - clearly shows through the material. It makes the item unsightly.2. The material is so thin that, despite my ironing it very carefully and not pulling on it as I ironed - it still became stretched and was quite wavy when set on the table - it was decidedly unattractive and placing weighted items on it did not help.

They were so small and ridiculously lightweight that I checked the box as I assumed I had been sent napkins, but the box says “Place Mats”; so I guess this is what this seller believes to be proper placemats. I could easily fold these and turn them into napkins; although lightweight napkins. I wouldn’t have given $1 for these at the department store if they had them for that price. I am stunned at these $32 napkins... I mean... placemats.

I bought this to go with my new dining room table. I've never had a runner before and I thought it made me fancy. Well, it doesn't since it's so wrinkled. I love the color and length and it seems to be good quality but it's so wrinkly and I dont iron. Someone else reviewed they needed to use an iron but I figured I could just wash and dry. No, I had to break out my iron (which was a project in itself). I ironed it twice and it's still wrinkled so it's on my table that way. Also, food stains dont come out that easily. I think runners are more for show and not for a table that is used 3 times a day by children. I've added a picture for laughing pleasure at my shot if ironing. The picture is after my 2 irons and sitting flat on the table for 2 weeks.

I bought this mainly for the color and only looked at the high overall rating. That was my mistake, don't let it be yours. It was hard to find light yellow place-mats, so when I saw these I jumped too quickly. They are very thin, literally translucent. The tags show right through and are not meant to tear away, so get the good scissors out and be careful. After washing on the delicate cycle and drying on low, the edges are curled and they are unusably wrinkled. We don't even own an iron. Our dress clothes and my shirts go to the cleaners. Now I have to buy an iron or throw these out.

I needed to replace two table runners that I use to protect the solid wood surfaces of my dressers. I looked on-line at several "designer shops" with no luck Then I thought: "Amazon!" I found these simple but beautiful Linen table runners; I bought two in Ivory & one in Sage Green. The design is simple but timeless. I wanted a solid color so the decorative items on the dressers can be easily seen. The design is simple but timeless.I gave "Easy to Clean" 3 stars. Why? I agree that Linen is easy to clean but it takes patience to iron it if you want a smooth texture. Table runners need to be smooth....Overall, I am very pleased with these Linens and would buy them again.

I love the look and feel of this runner, very simple but sophisticated. But it does seem a bit thin and delicate, i personally prefer a linen that is little thicker. I haven't washed it yet so i don't know about the durability yet. It is difficult to iron oit the fold creases but i suppose that's expected for all linen things.

Bought two, 14 x 48 and 14 x 72. Although the colour and material are lovely, no matter how much I iron them and they have been ironed quite a lot, they are still wrinkled which spoils them.

Arrived quickly, but unfortunately it was wrinkled. AFTER ironing it it started to crumple up again and doesn’t sit flat. Unsatisfied with this purchase.

The table runner have nice luxury design and color. The material thinner than expected, slightly see through (not opaque). The most disappointing and frustrating part, it doesn't lay flat. The edge is wavy at the longest side. I have tried to iron and press it before laying on top of upright piano. It is very obvious from the side view.
