Description

The AP 72/420 optics contain a doublet lens with a lens made of particularly low-refractive ED glass. The highest quality Schott glass is used for the crown glass element. Each glass-air surface of the optics is provided with a metallic anti-reflection coating in order to achieve a high, maximum light transmission of 99.5%! This optical construction of the apochromat ensures a very strong reduction in chromatic aberration and a very sharp image!This inexpensive, short refractor is ideal for astrophotography of large star fields without the need for a large astronomical mount. It is therefore also ideal for travel or mobile astrophotography in general. The sensitive eyepiece extension with 1:11 reduction is a great help when focusing.This telescope is designed as an astrograph, which means that the focus position is designed for astrophotography.
