This is a great tool to pull the serger tails back into the serger seam. No more raveling seams! Works great!

This all in one tool takes a bit of getting used to. Depending on the fabric being serged, the tool can get caught in the threads. You have to learn how to pull it out the best way. Think I will love it once I get used to it. Right now I like it,

When I first discovered this item, it was a wow moment, thinking but of course. The smallest crochet hook I have wouldn't work without pulling or snagging the seam, or not fit. This is a teeny, tiny crochet like hooking tool that works to pull the serged tail within the seam. Looks cleaner than stitching over to finish, and haven't had it pull out after using this method. There were two that came in the package. Because of the size it will be important to keep it in a safe place or risk losing one or both. This is a surprise find, and glad that I did. I can recommend this item.

This is quite handy and is useful with finishing serged fabric. As with anything new, it took a few tries to get the hang of it, but I've got it down now. A larger handle would have been nice for me.

Read about this in a sewing magazine and wanted to give it a try as sewing in serger threads is time consuming. The tool works great, just make sure the hook part faces the fabric, otherwise you get caught up in the seam threads.

I found this serger seam hook to be quite flimsy and difficult to work with. I was expecting something a bit more study to lock off my serger tails. I just didn't feel like this did the job, it didn't go far enough into the serged threads to really be able to lock the tails. I bought a different product, on the recommendation of a friend, and was much more pleased with that purchase (more of a long needle) as it was better made, gave you the ability to put the tails in further and was easier to use. Save your money and look for a better product.

Occasionally it will not give you a headache, but for the most part, it catches on EVERYTHING on the way back 'thru' , and you can't abandon the plan part way. Very disappointing.
