An EXCELLENT Book. No serious Parrot Keeper should be without it. It includes many photos of parrot species with a useful write up of each one.

An excellent book the information is up to date and explains in some detail, I would recommend this to anyone who keeps birds

good basic guide, the section on cage birds is a guide on each bird, i would advise getting a bird book on the species you are buying, as it is basic on each species.

I bought this book for my husband, and he just loves it. We have an Aviary, and it is nice to see what other sorts of birds we could have in the future. Very informative on how to house, breed & feed our Aviary birds. Would be brilliant for someone new to Aviary life. Many thanks.

This is very good book for Pet Bird owners. It gives complete idea about keeping birds healthy & happy.

Very informative.Good pictures.This book has good up to date information and beautiful pictures are a bonus.I liked everything this author had to say,his advice on care and husbandry was very sound and helpful if you desire to better your birds lives.

Although the book is not in the greatest shape, it is none the less a beautiful book. It could include more detailed information per species, but the beautiful pictures right along side the species write ups are are definitely a bonus. The first few chapters do contain great information about getting your birds, bird care, feeding, housing, health issues, and aviaries.I would recommend this book especially for beginers, but also for all bird lovers.

A good book that gives u a small window of all hookbill parrots. Wish it was more I depth on each bird.
