Review: Good value for money but consider base size and hanging spot - This is definitely a great light for the money. I was able to install it alone with no major issues. I used an Edison bulb, also purchased on desertcart. I do not have it on a dimmer. The only issue I had was the previous light had a larger base. So there is a small gap in the ceiling around this base, as this light is smaller. I think it also caused this light to hang slightly crooked since the spacing is a little irregular. I placed this light above a kitchen window. While its a good light, I'm not thrilled with the placement. I know this is my issue and didn't knock any stars for it. But you might want to consider the place you will hang this light to make sure its what you want. Its a unique light and needs a unique position. I can't put my finger on it, but I don't think its the right light for above a sink. I had a pendant light there previously and chose this style of light because I didn't want anything to obstruct the view. I plan to leave this light there hoping it will grow on me. Review: Perfect match - I bought this separately from the 3-lioght fixture I have over my bathroom vanity and it looks like it was a set. It's sturdy, was super easy to install (yes I did it myself!) and beautiful. Get compliments on it all the time.
