Unless you have a surface that you can't drill or won't accept wood-screws, there is no need to purchase this kit. The 400w heater panel ships with sturdy wood-screw based mounting hardware. Regardless, I would not recommend this kit for families with children. This kit relies on 4ea little sticky-pads to mount to the wall and two goofy looking legs to raise it off the floor. This mounting kit offers no protection against little hands from pulling it off the wall and onto themselves. The heater panel is too heavy for such a poorly designed system.The company did provide me with a refund for the mounting kit, but I still stand behind my post "may not be necessary and not safe for little children".

My heater is a couple of years old and I wanted to use these for the parts that my renters broke. Unfortunately, the screws weren’t exactly the same, so I had to return them. Also, I had mounted my heater a little to high for the legs to work. Received my refund quickly with no issues.

Doesn’t work. When you put the shield on it actually covers and touches the button that turns it off and on. Aside from that the on off button only works one out of every 70 times I try it. Don’t buy this

This works well heat wise, but the off gas smell is still very strong after weeks of use. I'm not sure what that is so. I'd be happier if I could use it more often but he smell makes me shut it off.

The heater this was to support was much heaver than the supports advertised. Don't know how long the adhesive will last.

They are well made, and if you use the mounting kit that is an add on item, easy to install. They just don't give much heat for the price. Buy an oil heater instead.
