Don’t buy the Apple Pencil... buy this XIRON stylus instead
I used to own an Apple Pencil. I paid $100. It lasted less than a year. First, it only had the writing capability. No stylus sponge tip, so I used the writing tip as the stylus which actually wore it down and caused it to no longer connect to the screen. I had to replace it. I did write with it on occasion but not $100 worth. Secondly it had been dropped a few times which caused the shell of the Penci to get a hairline crack. This caused it to stop charging. I took it back to Apple to request a possible replacement since it was less than a year old. Since the damage due to dropping wasn’t covered, a whopping $20 discount toward a new one was offered. I declined. When I found the XIRON for a mere $25 with its attachements online, I thought what have I to lose. The worst case in my mind was it wouldn’t be compatable with my iPad Pro. It is compatible, it has the rubber sponge end, it stays charged much longer than my Apple Pencil did and it doesn’t have to be bluetoothed to work. I love it. I would recommend this device to anyone who is considering buying the Apple Pencil. XIRON is a much less expensive and more reliable alternative. Thank you XIRON, I love it.

Practical and effective device that just works
I was a little worried to be honest when I ordered it if would actually work with my older iPad - and how accurately or well since I wanted to use it for music scoring. I need not have been. You just press the on button and start using it - it really is that easy. The metal build quality is quite nice. One thing with these capacitance pens - they are quite accurate but you have to watch the angle of the pen. If you hold the pen at an angle, its writing or selecting might be offset a bit from where you expect - it will be under the center of the tip, instead of the very point. But if you hold it pretty upright then it is dead on. So don't hold it at too lazy of an angle.

Works great with iPad, not so good with android...
This pen works great with my 9.7 inch iPad Air. On the iPad, I was able to draw shapes and pictures, write handwritten text, and activate all normal tap functions. Good buy for the price for iPad use.I have also tried it with an android Lenovo Tab 4, an LG V20 android phone, and an android Samsung Galaxy Tab e. On all of the Android devices, pen recognition is spotty. Handwriting is unrecognizable and there is no point in trying to draw anything. I don't know what the difference is between iOS and Android that makes one work and the other one not. Tapping on the Android devices usually works but is not dependable.I do have screen protectors on all the devices mentioned. The iPad and Samsung have glass screen protectors while the LG and Lenovo have flexible plastic protectors. The pen itself is comfortable to use. It is a little on the long and heavy side. The weight is about the same as a high-end metal executive pen, so not that bad, just heavier than I'm used to. It is longer than a typical pen, but I think that helps with the balance and reach if you are trying not to let your palm touch the tablet as you write.I am disappointed that it doesn't work with all my devices. That is what I had hoped for and why I bought it. I guess I am back to buying 2 different styluses.

Great stylus for iPad air 2
Really easy to use and a great dupe for apple pencil, even though I never had one, for older iPad models. I had an iPad air 2 which is not compatible with apple pencil so I was looking for one to use for my school. It's super easy to use, no setup needed, all you need to do is to turn it on and you can start writing! It would go to sleep automatically after a while if you're not using it which is great so the battery won't get drained just because you forgot to turn it off.It works great with notability, accuracy wise I think it's because of the design of my iPad so it might not be 100% but 90%(if that makes sense).Definitely recommend the product especially it comes with one year free warranty when you send email to them following the instructions on the card that comes with the product.

nice stylus but stopped working in 2 months
This stylus worked really well for me initially. I bought the pen to use with my iPhone XS to draw in Procreate. It worked better than I expected. I have never used an Apple Pencil before so I can’t compare, but I’ve created print quality drawing with this pencil that I’m really happy with. And it’s easy to hold. Just like a real pen or pencil. However, Initially, I didn’t have a screen protector. It became increasingly frustrating to draw with the pen directly on the glass because my lines were constantly shaky (not user error) and my screen was being scratched. I bought an inexpensive matte screen protector to save my screen and also add some friction to the surface as I was using the pen. The matte protector really helped in making the pen feel like I was drawing on paper and I fell in love with the pen all over again. So GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR. I’m ashamed of the scratches on my glass that look like scribbles. :(Beware though, because once there become cracks in the actual screen protector, it interferes with the pen and often it would just stop drawing when I went over a crack. Frustrating, but understandable.Fast forward 2 months later, the pen just won’t work. I was using almost daily for 2 months and now It won’t register with my screen anymore. No amount of tapping or swirling or doodling will make any lines show up. And I’m kinda annoyed that I have to purchase another one so soon. The copper tip does not “last a lifetime” as description claims.

Perfect Cheap Stylus
I had my doubts when I did some research on this stylus, but I have to say it's the best I've ever had. People had said there was a wobble when drawing a straight line, but I no issue with that at all. This stylus is very nice and easy to hold (feels like a #2 pencil) and very sleek and shinny. the only problem I had was that there was no regular cap for the end of the stylus like I had seen is previous reviews. other than that, I say it's a great options for people who don't want to spend a lot of money or can't afford an Apple Pencil (personally I like this better because it's simple. it may not have all the features the A.P. has but still worth it. another detail is that the end tip (tip with mesh/screen) works without the pencil ever being turned on so that's a plus.
