(35) pc QVC Banister/Mantle Garland Grabber Set

These worked even better than I expected - were easy to install and looked great. Wish I could only get the mantle hooks and replacement adhesive strips.

This made garland hanging so much easier! I was worried about the banister hooks before trying, but they weren't too difficult to get on the banister and they stayed in place all season. They're snug but didn't scratch the wood with careful application(which was my concern). I was able to slide them a little here and there as needed once they were on the banister to arrange/center the garland. The mantle hooks did the trick, too. It did take me a couple of tries, I think I wasn't pressing down hard enough on the adhesive before attempting to hang, so it was my fault. All in all, these are sturdy hooks and I like them.

I like these grabbers for the banister. They pop right on, unlike the round ones I had last year. I don’t know how long they will last, but I used them all and unlike the round kind, none of these snapped apart while hanging them.

The bannister hangers are complete junk. They held up for about week and half and then one by one they began breaking and completing snapping off. The mantel hangers work great and if it was just these I would’ve given it a 5 star.

These are great in theory, however need to use light weight garland only. I have high quality heavier garland with lights and pine cones and after four days many of them broke in half - it appeared that they are two pieces taped together - after breaking there is a piece of heavy clear tape at the connection? I think they would be fine with lighter garland - very convenient and easy to use.

Extremely happy with these. They are very durable and reusable. I mounted my stockings to the mantle and was able to hide the plastic clips behind a garland. They look very tasteful and do not damage surfaces. A lot of hooks come in this package. There are big ones to use on banisters and little ones to use on mantles. Next year, I plan on using the 3M command strips to reuse them.

I bought this product hoping for an end to using wire to attach garland to my beautiful banister. Not only are they too small....(I have the exact banister featured in their product packaging) but they don't seem very sturdy to hold luxury garlands. This particular pack came with mantel garland grabbers too.....those are a step better and actually hold...when the grabber part wants to cooperate. Mostly the hook wants to swivel to the side which means the garland crashes to the floor. This product concept is a great idea but needs to go back to the planning and development phase.
