I am always looking for a drinkable budget brew, these beans do the trick. I brew using an areopress. I do not know how well this brand withstands other brewing methods. If you brew with a drip it might be a tad bit bitter. But for a french press, pour over, or aeropress it makes a good cup.

Great coffee no chemicals

Still not impressed with this company's coffee beans. Would not recommend. Not quality beans 💯💯💯 bitter when brewed strongly... which good coffee is NOT, to be clear. What I'm brewing right now tastes like drinking a huge cup of dark chocolate, no cacao needed. Ordered elsewhere.

I have been looking for a less expensive Costarican Tarrazu coffee. So when I found this coffee I had high hopes for it because the price seemed to be pretty reasonable compared to what I have been buying. Of course rating food items can be pretty subjective. So with that said; all I can say is that this is a decent coffee but it doesn't quite measure up to the rich flavor I was expecting. The beans seem kind of dry and are lacking the glossy oily finish you get from most high quality coffees.

I like this coffee. The roast is nice and dark. The beans are fresh and have that oily sheen. I'm going to be a regular buyer if they keep the price low and the quality remains good. I just ground some up and brewing it now. Nice smell. If you like a strong french roast you will like this coffee.

Nice strong coffee flavor.

This is the darkest light-roast I've ever seen. I can't tell if the beans are any good because all I taste is ash. Avoid.

I've been buying Discoveries Organic Coffees for years. Their coffee is my favorite, hands down.
