Pacific Trail Men's Whittier Walking Shoe

Size is wider than normal. There's no "eyes" at the top. Instead there are metal hooks for the top and the design is poor. If I cross my ankles when seated these hooks will catch on my socks and snag them Unless I make a effort to remember which I don't always do and so far have damaged a couple of favorite hiking socks. I bent the end down and filed the sharp end and that helped. Had I not worn them outside prior to learning about this I would have returned them.

I walked a rough trail over six miles with these shoes out of the box and didn't get a single hot spot. The only trouble is one of the quick lace eyelets pulled through the shoes upper material when I stopped to tighten the laces. I've now walked over eighty miles and they seem to be wearing well despite the problem mentioned.

The initial box they sent me had two shoes of very different sizes. Once we got that sorted out, all is good. Very much like the shoes.

3rd pair I have bought in five years. I wear them everyday. I start each new pair with a new Dr. Sholls arch pad because l stand lot at my job.

These shoes are comfortable and have lasted just as long if not longer than a pair of Nike's.

For the price these are beyond amazing!! I wore them for 10 hours yesterday and they supported me amazingly!

I bought these shoes for my 13 year old boy. We were so happy with them!! They were a great price and look nice also.

Near perfect fit right out of the box! I have yet to fully break them in, so I'm holding a star "in reserve".My shoe size is 13(US) wide, so finding a good fit is difficult.
