SkechersWomen's Squad Sr Food Service Shoe

I am a barista and I work 35-40 hours a week. I got these shoes last May and wore them for almost every shift since then. Here's a review after 10 months of wearing these on concrete floors.Pros: these are non-slip. I am a clumsy person and I can tell you with confidence that I never slipped once while wearing these shoes, no matter how much water, milk or soap was on the floor.These shoes look nice, the all-over black look is very professional. If they get dirty, I just wiped them down with a cleaning wipe and they looked fine again.These shoes are water resistant, maybe even water proof. I have spilled so much hot coffee on them and my toes have remained dry and unburned.These shoes have no laces than need to be tied, so they cannot become untied and you won't trip on the laces.Cons: there is almost no support in these shoes. The sole is hard as a rock and your feet will hurt after working a full shift.Like all clothes, these loosen up over time. They are slip on shoes, so they're not really meant to be tight anyway, but there is noticeable gaping around my ankle now, my foot moves a lot in my shoe.The combination of a hard, flat sole and a loose fit is now causing me problems. My foot pain after work is now lasting several days, if I happen to have time off. I tried using an insole to add some cushion, but with such a loose shoe, the added bulk just made my foot slide off the insert, leading to a new kind of soreness after my shift.I've developed cuboid syndrome and require manual manipulation and wrapping to manage my pain. This may have been avoided if I replaced my shoes earlier, but I've always had a hard time with that. If there are no actual holes, I will keep wearing a pair of shoes.Would I buy these shoes again? Probably not these exact ones, but another pair from Sketchers, a pair with laces I can tighten as the shoe gets more worn. My advice is to skip these exact shoes, but stick with this brand. They are perfectly non-slip and water-resistant in my experience, but they require more padding, some arch support and definitely the ability to tighten them down the more you wear them.

A very worth it purchase I’ve ever had with sneakers. It’s very comfortable, the design is simple but stylish making it easy to pair with any outfit. I wear it to work and school and it’s so comfortable! The fact that it’s inexpensive than most shoes is what I really love. Why would you buy a $150-200 Nike sneakers when you can buy this shoes for $35 that literally is much more comfortable. 😍😍😍💯💯💯 Definitely gonna buy a different design again.And as for slip proof,It is slip resistant so I guess you can wear it when your jogging in the rain or maybe if you work in fast food!

I got these mainly because they're slip-on shoes with slip resistant outsoles. Word to the wise, you may want to order a half size bigger. I ordered my usual size and while the overall fit is good, the toe is a bit narrow. I'll probably end up using a shoe stretcher to widen that part rather than exchanging them for a larger pair. Since I have narrow feet and there is room to move in the heel, I'm concerned that a larger size might not stay on properly. I would also recommend getting inserts for these. Some of the reviews I read said the insoles are great, but I find them lacking in cushion. Overall, though, these are really great shoes for the price. They slip on just fine and don't put pressure on the front of my ankle like my old slip-ons did but also don't feel like they'd fall off. I also like that they're scotchguard protected straight out of the box. Overall, I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Love these shoes! These are the 2nd pair of these shoes that I have gotten! They are true to size and I have not slipped in them at all! They are also very comfortable! I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for black sneakers! I just wish they were made in other colors as well!

My old work shoes held moisture, I never had an issue with odor or my skin turning white. But after purchasing these my feet are so comfortable, it got rid of the moisture and odor from my past shoes.. I am also very clumsy, now stepping into water I have full confidence I wont slip and have not. I really suggest these shoes for anyone working in the food industry

I have a dozen of this style of Skechers. Everyone at work has gotten them because of my suggestion. But these, are too large, too wide..and the insole that I added, is just enough to make them okay. I was very unhappily surprised. What has happened?

I purchased these sketchers to help in the slippery snow and they are amazing. The fit is good. Not tight or loose. Room for feet to breathe. And the traction is great. Good for not just working.

I bought this for someone and they work in fast food and they absolutely love them so they were comfortable they said just perfect have no complaints so I guess I would definitely buy them again

On the whole these shoes are great, lightweight and cool and the non-slip soles are a lifesaver! Luckily I read the reviews so knew to buy a smaller size than my normal size 5. I was able to get a 4.5 which was perfect. Though the shoes are comfortable in that they don't rub anywhere and slip on easily, they could do with more padding on the sole. If they had soles like my Skechers Icon D'lite trainers they would be absolutely perfect and I would have given them 5 stars. Those trainers feel like slippers they are do comfy. However I have bought some memory foam inner soles which I hope will help.

Very good and comfortable and greased are very good for work

This is the second time I order this shoes. It’s perfect in the first time and I gave my Mom when she came to Toronto for traveling, so I bought it again. However, it disappointed me this time. The inside soles started peeling off as pictures after I wore it only 2 times. There were many bubbles in there which made my feet uncomfortable. I complained to Amazon and they offered me a return and refund. Hopefully I can get my money back. It’s not cheap.

I work in the food industry. I used to buy my shoes from payless fir work but they closed downI love these shoes more than any work shoes I've owned. I've owned probably 10 different kinds. When these wear out I will definitely buy again. It's been about 6 months and they are about 7/10 condition wearing them almost every day at work.I love how they aren't ugly and how there is no lace. It's just elastic and it slips on very easy

They look like the picture - great quality - I love them.However they are bigger with about 1 number.I have 5 pairs of Sketchers all of them size 9 therefore I ordered 9 - but surprisingly they fit like 10 and cannot wear them.
