.....as the item description states, this is not OEM, and one noticeable difference is that the authentic Envion filter has a much sturdier frame, while this filter is really flexible.It fits just the slightest bit tight, as one side bows slightly and curves in, leaving a gap which may let dust through. This could be remedied by filling the gap with some dryer sheets.This will arrive in the standard Amazon box, and when you open it, it's the filter sealed in plastic with no additional padding, meaning if it's not handled gently during shipping, it could easily arrive damaged or bent. Maybe this is what happened in my case, but ordering from here is a whole lot easier than ordering from Envion. Just keep that in mind. As of yet, I dont know how this will actually perform filtering anything.

This filter has a toxic smell. I ran it for about a minute and a heavy toxic smell filled the room. I tried again the next day and immediately got that smell and felt nauseous. Here I am trying to filter the air of dust and allergens and this filter is covered in chemicals that off gas. I usually get one from a company that carries the name brand specific filter I need but I wanted quicker shipping.

It took 5 days for me to get the package (1 week earlier than the estimated delivery time). Easy to install and it fits perfectly.But the smell is just very bad. It is like vinegar + chemical mixed smell. I sprayed some perfume onto the filter and the smell got little bit better but still bad. I think the odor will go away in 3 days. Fingers crossed!FYI, the side that has straps should be the front.

Easy install. Certainly purifies the air in area of designated use. Definitely order from this supplier again.

Install was easy, it would have been helpful to have directional arrows for airflow. The filter has a terrible smell like plastic. Not refreshing clean air smell we had been anticipating.

This filter fit like a glove. After searching far and wide for a replacement filter for a discontinued air purifier model, I was hesitant to purchase one that had different Replacement Model Number that was suggested on the old filter. But the dimensions were exact, so I took the plunge. It fits perfectly, and it could be my imagination, but it the air purifier sounds quieter at the same speed as before. I feel I should have bought two, since this model dimension will be scarcer in the future. You choose.
