Thd rating -- specs indicate up to 23% thd. can this high thd damage the tv, laptop, iphone charger?

Don't let the THD bother you too much. Most electronics (and all good electronics) are built with filters and voltage regulators to keep the signal clean for the internal electronics. I have never had an issue with THD from portable generators for 1-5 days of backup power (hurricanes, etc.). Only thing I ever seen a problem from was a little UPS that did not like the dirty power. .. 95% of typical items won't care about 20% THD.

Where is the location of the 50 AMP Plug on shipping generators -I see it in different locations on different pictures?

The 50 amp plug is the far right plug. It is directly above the wheel so had to order something like a1 inch extender plug so the heavy extension cord I use would clear the wheel
