Buy this swing!
I needed something to replace my rock n play - i LOVED the rock n play with my first but it’s since been recalled and i needed something new for my second. This swing is AWESOME. My son loves it. It sits at a great angle to prevent diaper blowouts. It’s very quiet! The swinging and rotating motions are very soothing. The adjustable speeds are a very nice feature - I usually run on the slowest speed (the higher speeds seem really fast to me) and it lulls him to sleep and keeps him asleep. He also loves the vibrate feature. The removable bouncer is great for portability - it’s easy to move around the house if needed. Not quite as easy as the rock n play was, but still manageable (even immediately post partum - it’s not too heavy). Excellent value for he price and it was easy to put together.

EXCELLENT Baby Glider, Highly Recommend from First-time Mom
I did a lot of research for a glider and even bought and returned two others, and this is one of the best purchases I made as a first-time mom. I can’t over emphasize how great it was for a growing newborn. I needed a glider that was higher off the ground because we have a dog. The height of this makes it easy to interact with her while sitting on a chair and doesn’t require straining to bend over for one that’s low to the ground. I could put her in it while I made a bottle or did a quick chore. I did not buy this to put her to sleep and she never did fall asleep on it, but that’s ok because it entertained her. I connected a Manhattan Toy Wimmer Ferguson Infant Stim Mobile (also on Amazon) and she would stare at the contrasting colors and reach for them. At about four or five months I connected a Taf Toys Stroller Arch (Amazon too) and that again kept her entertained even more with all new things to look at. What I enjoyed about the removable rocker is that I could put her in it and then carry her to the bathroom and have her in it while I showered or in the bedroom as I did chores. It’s very easy on and off. The assembly takes some time, but I figured it out on my own. I didn’t add batteries for vibration. I did use the swing function nearly all the time. I highly, highly, highly recommend this glider. We’ve had it for almost seven months with no issues at all.

We love this
Our baby can be pretty clingy and prefers us to hold him all day. Our backs needed a break and this is perfect, he loves it. The seat and insert are removable and machine washable and easy to clean. The music is so sweet it’s classical and he loves the songs (especially loves when we sing them back to him). The mobile is great for attaching more toys to. This will usually buy us at least 20 min (more if we sit with him and talk and play) and is one of our favorite purchases! It’s very light and easy to move from room to room when needed. It’s very safe and sturdy and you can control the intensity of the movement so it’s not too jerky.

Baby loves this swing
I bought this when my baby was 3-4 weeks old, as he didn’t like to be put down. As much as I love holding my baby, I needed time to eat, clean, etc. This arrived the next day and the assembly directions were easy to follow. As soon as I put my baby in it, he immediately calmed down. Over 2 months old now and still loves it! Great for naps or just having time to himself. Definitely recommend and worth the money for me.

Good for reflux babies
EARTHQUAKE UPDATE:Okay, so following the 7.1 earthquake, I can now report this thing is sturdy, bassinet rocked a bit but it held its place pretty well and didn’t rock as much as I would have expected. So this thing was truly tested. The rock n play recall lead us here. Let’s just start with that. We are on Baby #4: The Final Baby (great movie title, amirite?) and planned to order a rock n play in April ‘19. We had rock n plays for all the other kids but kept giving them away thinking we were done having children because we are idiots. Rock n plays got recalled, I lost my mind. Why, you ask? Because all our damn kids had horrible acid reflux and the incline of that stupid rocker helped tremendously! So the search for an inclined sleeper began and lead us to this contraption. Here comes the pros and cons list...Pros:Has 3 incline settings, the final one being almost sitting up and is the best day time positionPretty cushyHas decent glide settingsHas two different vibrate modesPlays music/soundsThe mobile can easily be removedThe entire thing took my pregnant ass like 10 minutes to put together without the instructions I just looked at the box and checked my work with the instructions later (I like a good challenge but I wouldn’t attempt this with ikea furniture so there’s that)The bassinet part is removableEasy to travel with if you can fit it in your car (it’s light but stable)Cons:It’s not as cushy as I’d like but I’m not the one sleeping in it/hanging out in itThe sounds on it annoy me lolIt doesn’t gently or quietly change incline positions which sucks if your child fell asleep in the upright settingIt’s not the rock n playI feel like the bassinet could have a better way to lock in to the base that wouldn’t trigger my anxietyI recommend this in general for your child to chill out in and especially if you have a child who has some more than average reflux going on. Not my favorite but not the worst thing by far. Absolutely a solid choice though.
