98-GT100CLR Guitar Tools Extra Small

Suffering from bouts of sensitive-skin inflammation makes playing a stringed instrument a challenge, so I thought I'd check these out. What a relief!!I have very small fingers, and these XS gorilla tips fit my fingers just fine. They DO help in preventing fingertip pain from playing, however they would be much more effective if the thickened area was extended a few millimeters. I don't press every fret with the very tip of my finger (Is that the proper way? My beginner fingers don't do that!) so a little more thickened area would be super helpful. They stop right at your first finger joint so you don't have any problem with range of motion.I tried these on an electric bass, so they probably felt a lot better than on a 6-string as those strings are thinner and easier to dig into sensitive fingertips. As I'm a newbie, I'm not playing some crazy bass riffs so they work perfectly for me, save for the wish that they got a little more coverage on the padding part.To get the best fit, check the measurements before you buy. You definitely want a snug fit. I didn't feel like these were cutting off my circulation, but they fit snug enough that they weren't sliding off while playing. I recommend 'em if you need 'em. Couldn't manage to play and learn as well as I can now with these on my digits.

I initially purchased size small at Guitar Center, but it ran way too loose, so I bought another set of extra small on Amazon, but extra small are too tight to put on, not to mention the second time I put them on, one of the slips got torn apart, and my nails weren't even sharp. I found a better alternative solution by wearing 2 layers of rubber latex gloves and it works just the same!

These worked well fo rme playing the guitar and I didnt even find them as sticky as other reviewers. HOWEVER... they are expensive and they fall apart quickly. I have purchased 2 sets int he last few weeks and 3 or 4 of the tips have simply sheared off. Then others have stretched out. Two have fallen off my fingers when I went momentarily to do something other than play guitar and those are lost for good (they are small and clear). It is obvious that the mark-up on this item, at a $12.95 selling price - is huge. They should include 50 or 100 for the price - not 5. I cannot in good conscience recommend these because they will waste your money.

I understand the concept, and got these because I'm a beginner; however, they slip so much that I couldn't play any chords. It was disappointing. Now I have to find another brand that is more durable and sturdy. These are really thin, difficult to put on, and the air pockets at the tip interfere.The size wasn't an issue (minus the air pockets), and I have small fingers (thin adult female). I'm glad it works for others, but I wouldn't suggest it for those just starting off. I had better luck taking them off to play, as they started to hurt the fingertips after a few moments because of the thin material... while I find a different product.

Really good product, but the size I purchased (due to reviewers stating they were too large) were extremely small.They were MUCH too small for me, and barely fit my 7 year old son's fingers, in fact one of them is actually too small for his middle finger but the others fit perfectly.

I love this product works better than expected couldn't be happier with product. It creates a small pocket of air at the tip of your finger that really helps someone just starting or has senestive finger tips to play the guitar. Just when you order look carefully for the correct size I missed the sizing on the package it is on the top right corner. I liked it so much I'm now waiting on my next set to get here.

They work really good for protecting the fingers but I'm pretty annoyed that one already tore and I've literally Had them for 6 hours probably won't buy again unless they send me new ones free of charge

I got two sizes,extra small for my granddaughter and large for me. I like the feel but have not worn them yet while playing my guitar. I hope they will help with sore fingers as I begin playing again.
