I bought these for my son who has autism and sensory processing disorder. They are a subtle in-ear alternative to the bulky ear defenders which can draw alot of attention (often unpleasant). The best way to describe them is like the opposite to hearing aids - instead of increasing surrounding noise, they reduce it. Sounds aren't muffled at all, which I was skeptical about at first - I find he is able to still hear and engage in conversation perfectly fine while wearing them. In fact, he seems to engage alot more comfortably while wearing them, which goes to show how much environmental noise is a problem for him. They come as two clear, washable pairs in a small metal screwtop case that attaches to your keyrings which takes away the stress of remembering to grab them everytime we leave the house, and you always know where they are. An absolute godsend for anyone with difficulty coping with loud/noisy situations!

Having my left ear smaller than the other, the earplugs didn't fit it properly (even the smallest size). This being said, after a night of clubbing I was able to notice a big difference in my hearing in both ears: My right ear (the properly isolated one) was normal, while my left ear was slightly ringing (Still better than not having the plug at all). I guess that shows that when the earplugs do fit, they are very effective at blocking high noise levels (With the music quality being mainly unchanged, albeit the bass being slightly boosted). However, a smaller size would be preferable, since the bigger size was way too big for both ears and the smaller size was still too big for my left ear. They aren't very comfortable either, needing to be pushed back in every now and then. At least, for those looking for a discreet set of earplugs, when fitted properly, these are pretty good. No one seemed to notice that I had them on, especially in the dark environment.

Not bad earplugs. They're a little difficult to get in your ears as the silicon is quite sticky. They require a little lubrication to get a good seal. The kit as a whole is good. Spare buds and the carry case. The lanyard is tricky to attach and they're are no instructions as to how to do that. I would recommend the manufacturer include some basic instructions in regards to attaching the lanyard.

We got this set of ear defenders for our son, who is a keen drummer. At first, he found them a little uncomfortable and not restricting some of the sound, but after repositioning the earpieces they were a lot more comfortable and work fantastically well. He prefers the in-ear design to the over ear defenders and found that these did a good job once inserted correctly. The attachable strap is also useful so that you don't lose an earpiece between sessions. The strap was a little bit fiddley to attach.

Must say I was very skeptical at first after having lots of previous experience with other foam earplugs, but I must say these silicone earplugs are worth every penny. I work in construction so a lot of the time I’m in very noisy area’s and because of that the ringing in my ear’s has been getting worse and worse over the last couple of months, however with these earplugs I can still hear my work colleagues talk to me while it filter’s out and reduces the other loud construction machinery noises which is a big help to me. Fantastic earplugs and very comfortable to wear for long periods. The storage box that’s included is great aswell. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and wear it daily.

I bought these earplugs because I go to quite a few gigs and wanted to avoid my ears ringing afterwards. I've tried these Earplugs a few times now, and they make almost zero difference to the sound levels. In fact one fell out last week and I really didn't notice any difference. I've tried both fittings and neither fit snugly. I noticed just now in the item description that these are pitched as "noise cancelling". I didn't expect they would be (as this requires some electronics), but this is surely a contravention of the Trade Descriptions Act. Anyway, waste of money, ineffective, don't buy

Great set of ear plugs for the kids to use at a concert...no tinnitus afterwards and could hear songs brilliantly. Much better than the ear defenders we used at a festival earlier this year. Only thing I would note is that although there is 2 sets of ear plugs, there is only one set with a filter in them - something I didn't realise when purchasing them- they give you slightly different sizes. Other than that, I can't complain. They were really useful for the night and comfortable to wear
