FOREVER BAMBOO Mexican Palm Thatch Runner Roll Straw Roof Duck Blind Grass 35" H x 8' L

Used as a decorative feature for our lanai tiki bar. It’s under the hard roof so it doesn’t get rain & very little UV, but it sees 90+ percent humidity here in Florida and it’s not rotting which was my main concern. Still looks great at the 2 1/2 year point.

This was my first purchase from Forever Bamboo, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The thatch roll arrived very well packed and—no joke—smelled like fresh thatch right out of the box (in the best way possible!). It was super easy to unroll, cut to length, and install. I stapled it onto my bamboo awning, and the whole process was a breeze. Great quality product and seamless experience. I’ll absolutely be buying from this store again Soon for next project!

I installed these on my large metal roofed gazebo for a summer party. After installing the inside roof temp dropped 30 degrees. And it looks great too. In East Texas in July every little thing helps.

I love the consistency of the craftsmanship and the quality condition it arrives in. It's durable enough to fasten and while underway or trailering at 40+mph we haven't had any degradation. We're using it on top of a framed hip roof for a tiki boat. While we're happy with the outcome, it's worth noting one layer will not create anything close to 100% shade. We will most likely put a second or third layer on in due time. For DIY projects, this is absolutely the material for you. For professional grade tiki roofs, it might not hold up to the finished quality a customer would desire.

Great design and materials. I hated to return them but I couldn’t use it as needed. My error.

The thatch holds up but the string they use breaks down and comes apart. Would like them to put a nylon string on it maybe it will not fall apart that easily.

Thi k hatching so it should last a long time. Easy to install. Smells good too.
