Soir De Paris By Bourjois for Women. New, Re-designed in 1991

I have heard my mother and aunt talk about Evening in Paris perfume for years and how it was a favorite of their aunt when they were children. When I found this product I was very excited and ordered a bottle for myself and one for my daughter. We both fell in love with this vintage scent. It is especially nice for a dressier evening. My daughter who is sixteen now wears only this perfume. I would recommend this scent to anyone who is looking for something a little bit old timey and a lot sexy. I have never smelled the original Evening in Paris, so, I do not know how it compares with this newer scent, but the new one is definitely great.

I ordered this for christmas for my grandmother. It's hard to get a gift for someone who has everything, but I did remember her saying how she used to order this perfume in the sears catalogue back in the 50's. I had looked everywhere in all the perfume shops, department stores, etc, and could never find it. Finally stumbled upon it on this website, and was so excited when they said they would ship to Canada. It made it here on time for christmas! When my grandmother opened her gift, she had tears in her eyes. Having thought she would never see this again, it brought back alot of great memories for her, and she says that even the scent is the same.

my grandma has this for years and years. she kept an empty bottle so that she could smell it every once in a while, so i tracked it down and found that it was redesigned. she was really really happy to be able to wear it again.

Evening in Paris Perfume has been a favorite of mine since the late 1940s. The bottle that I recently purchased has a slightly different aroma but I still like it. I don't know why the formula was changed.

When I was growing up in the 1940's and '50's, my mother, older sister and cousin wore this light floral scent. For Mother's Day I was given an Amazon Gift Card. Since the Perfume was on Sale, I decided to use my gift card. I am happy I did because it brings back lovely memories. If one enjoys a airy light scent this is a wonderful scent to wear. I only wish they had this in a bath oil since bath oils stay with me longer than most scents, even expensive perfumes.

Was gift for my mom's 84th birthday. She'd mentioned that her mother used to wear a perfume in blue bottle & the name was something with Paris. After finding this & reading all reviews where some said it's the same as original & others saying it's not, decided to take a chance & get it anyway & let mom test it out.When she opened package, she was very excited because of the color - same cobalt blue, even though shaped is different. Unfortunately, as soon as she took one whiff, she said, not at all like original. It's still a nice scent though.

My mom (now 82) fondly remembered this and asked me if it was still available... I read the reviews and was a little concerned because so many people said it did not smell like the original. But I went ahead and preferred it anyways.Her eyes lit up when she saw the bottle. When she sprayed a little on her forearm to test, and then gave it a sniff, her reaction said it all: this was the same perfume she remembered!I sniffed it as well, and sure enough it IS the same scent I remember her wearing from when I was a little kid.So huge thumbs up to the product, and also to the vendor for delivering it on scheduled as promised.

My mother wore Evening in Paris. Both my husband and I had been hospitalized with covid. I almost lost him. I was feeling very sorry for myself and thought about my mother. I just needed to smell Evening in Paris one more time. I ordered it and keep it on my dressing table. I wear it on special occasions and just take a sniff when I need to be uplifted.
