I purchased these to use with my digital camera. I don't have a GoPro yet and a small compact digital camera worked great to take videos of any outdoor activity. I haven't yet used it for a full day of outdoor activity but plan to do so. The only thing I felt uncomfortable about is that you have to have the straps tightly around your chest and for a women, it really showcases your boobs. (not crazy about that).Also, if you're heavy on the top (large boobs), you might even cover the entire camera. So, I don't recommend for heavy top women. Other than that, it's great to use to capture videos hands free.

When I read that this chest strap would be compatible with my Canon compact camera I thought this would be just what I was looking for. It is not useful for my camera unless I want to shoot pictures without viewing the subject. The camera has to be removed (via "quick release" feature) in order to see the view finder. I want to take photos while I am riding my bike. It takes two hands to use the Quick Release so I can't ride along and snap a photo and re-anchor the camera. I think this strap is meant only for taking action videos.

I bought this last minute before my 8 day Colorado rafting trip through the Grand Canyon and it was amazing!! I connected my water camera to it and swiveled the camera on and off all day long- videos for the rapids and shots of the land. It really held up to a lot of abuse. I usually don't write reviews as I let everyone else do that for me, but I had to rate this chest strap because it really was awesome!

Great gadget. Accommodates my substantial frame (6' 2" and 235lbs) over a winter fleece (though I can feel the straps begging for mercy) and holds the camera firmly in place while I take videos of the dog running after and steadfastly refusing to bring back her soccer ball, ho hum. Straps are easy to adjust and the unit quite easy to set up. Slotting in the tripod mount and locking it in is a bit fiddly, takes me a few attempts anyway, quick release it is not.

I am not giving this item 5 starts because I just purchase it and it is still in trial. But over all it works great, I use it every day to ware a body Camara for work. I do think it could be a little cheaper

I an very happy with this. I have a MIUFLY camera and was worried about the connection between the camera and the harness. I found that the alligator clip that comes with the camera clips onto this harness without any of the adaptors. For my use, this is perfect.

I have taken it on a few outings. It proves to be comfortable and fits my small waterproof camera well. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nicely made & easy to adjust & use. Olympus tough cameras are heavier than gopros but I tried it walking and with the stability system in the camera it seems to be just fine. Working up the courage to take it surfing.....
