The Singles Collection

comprehensive collection
I purchased this cd as it appeared to give the most comprehensive range of hits from Connie Francis's career.Whilst not a big fan of the slower material [which dragged at times] her uptempo material-Robot Man-lipstick on your collar etc was good for the time. All in all a decent cd to add to the 50's collection

Greatest single for a female
In the past I have found albums of a single singer to be pretty boring after the first two or three songs. Each item tends to sound like the previous one, the singer often does not appear to be able to give each song a different interpretation. Not this one however.Connie is able to give each song its individual emotional appeal. Her voice is lovely. No forcing of strained depths or heights and also there is no American slur at the end of any of the words which is apparent when you listen to some of the other singers - be they American or British.I listen to this album on so many occasions, enjoying the nostalgia but also the sound of a lovely young woman.

Superb
I bought this product and to be honest its pretty much like new. I have used this supplier before and they seem to play safe when describing products, so VERY GOOD is that plus some. As for the CD every song is superb quality, sounds awesome through my VW Polo 2012 Match speakers (standard speakers nothing fancy). I highly recommend this cd and the seller as well. By the way, Connie Francis, omg what a voice, fantastic singer and sexy as .................. ;)

Mama
I bought this after hearing the song Mama on Call the Midwives, so I only bought it for that one song, which is glorious but the whole CD is filled with the most wonderful songs. It reminds you what a fantastic singer Connie is. Definitely a must for any one who likes her sound. Arrived in time and good quality.

Connie Francis: The Singles Collection.
This is the most compehensive Connie Francis hits collection on a single CD. There are 2 reasons why I did not give 5 stars. First the tracks are not in recording date order, or even release date order: they appear to be in completely random order! Second some minor singles are omitted, notably:-Happy Days And Lonely NightsIf I Didn't CareTeddyWhen The Boy In Your Arms
