Is it hard to put the raspberry Pi in the case and make it work?

No it is easy. However. The raspberry pi gets installed into the slot in the bricks about 1/2 way through the build, so it needs to be prepped with the heat sinks and micro SD card. Then you build it up and around the Pi. It cannot slide out.

would a Raspberry Pi 4 fit into this case?

Yes! It has been tested with a Pi 4!

What are the size dimensions of this case? i would like to buy the largest of the three (nes, snes, genesis), and this one looks like it could be?

The Sega genesis is the largest and has a fake cartridge that you can slide in and out of the top. Very cool design.
