Cole Haan Signature Men's Wool Melton Stand Collar Jacket with Patch Pockets

Great looking coat. Was perfect for our Texas winters. The only slight disappointment was the “leather” piping isn’t real leather. Time will tell how long it lasts. But overall since we got it on sale it was a good find.

The shell was a nice wool blend that proves warm in cold weather and even in windy conditions. The shoulder and chest area was a nice fit as expected, however the midsection was a little tight. Not uncomfortably so, but the fit was noticeably different in the midsection than in the chest and shoulders.

First, I should say that this jacket looks great. Absolutely love it. It had more loose threads than I've seen in pretty much any other article of clothing I've bought. I've tied them off to the best of my ability, and the quality generally seems pretty high in the rest of the jacket. It runs large, so I ordered a second in a smaller size and that fits considerably better. Both sizes (medium and large) fit me, but the large hangs off of me. I guess it depends on whether you want it to hang a bit or not. One last thing that irks me a little bit is that the inside pocket is right at the edge of the zipper and opens sideways. I'd rather have a pocket further into the coat that opens at the top. That's a very small concern though. Overall, great jacket.

I have a super heavy wool and down coat that tore and I got this as a replacement while my other is being repaired. I must have a good hour searching for something that I thought looked nice and would be high quality and this really was the only option I could find! 60% wool is great, considering most products of similar price have less than 25% wool. It keeps you very warm and blocks the wind to your chest well, but because of the poly filling it isn't as warm as my down coat. That being said, that's not entirely a bad thing. I was able to comfortably wear this at 20 degrees to take my dog for a short walk, but it's not so heavy that I am burning up if it's in the mid 40's. Cole Haan is designed to look and fit a little more on the formal side. So as someone with really broad shoulders and oddly muscular forearms it can be a little snug in those areas, but I am used to this. It looks really nice on me (in my opinion). The inside is a nicely stitched silky material that feels upscale and luxurious when you slip it on. My only small complaint is that while I find it snug around the forearm and shoulder, the wrist area is loose on me. On those extra chilly days the cold seeps right up your arms because of this. This isn't really major and if it's too cold I just wear gloves that cover the area this is loose around.

They originally sent me the wrong size, but they fixed it. Sent me the right size and now I’m happy with my jackets. Good feel and material and fits me well

Made with high quality materials and fully lined. Has kept me warm in this cold winter. Pockets have excellent capacity and quality. Seams all line up and no loose threads. Very handsome over wear. I like it. AF
