I’m extremely happy with this wool rug pad. The thickness is perfect—it provides excellent cushioning underfoot while also doing a great job protecting our wood floors. I’ve also noticed a nice reduction in noise, which is an added bonus. The quality feels very durable and well-made. It was slightly larger than I needed, but it was incredibly easy to trim down to the exact size, which made installation simple. Overall, this is a high-quality product that does exactly what it promises. I would absolutely purchase this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for both floor protection and added comfort.

I'm really glad the product details specified that this rug pad is NOT non-slip. That's really important to note, because it is DEFINITELY slippy. But that's okay for my use, as all 3 that I ordered are going to be anchored under heavy furniture. Just make sure that will be good for your use case, too. That said, the pad itself is great! All 3 that I ordered (1/4 inch, 8x10) arrived on time and were well packaged. Coming out of the package, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no smell or anything. And they were rolled up, so there weren't really any folds that I had to get out. The pads are all the same size and thickness... which, when it comes to size, is bigger by at least an inch than all of my 8x10 rugs. That's okay, though, I'd rather they be bigger than smaller, and they're easy to cut with a good pair of scissors. So no issues there! As far as thickness, they make SUCH a difference! My rugs feel much more plush and cushy. I'll be honest, I didn't want to spend the money on rug pads. But I'm moving into a new house, and moving from wall to wall carpeting to hardwood floors and area rugs, and my mother *insisted* that I get these. I chose these specific pads because they looked pretty good, and more importantly, they were cheap. And I hate to say it... but my mom was right. My rooms feel MUCH more cozy after I added these pads under my rugs. I was prepared to not really notice a difference, given the price on these, but instead I'm left feeling like I got a great value! So yeah, great rug pads, definitely recommend!

This rug pad is excellent. We bought the 3/8” thick pad and we are so pleased with it! We bought rugs online, they are pretty but thin. This rug pad makes it feel so plush and warm every time we step on it, and it was cheaper and thicker than the pads offered by the rug company. We did not choose a ‘non-slip’ because this big rug will be anchored under furniture. The rug pad will need to be trimmed slightly on the width so that it ends just short of the carpet. The length was already a few inches short, which is normal with other rug pads we’ve bought in the past.

I’ve purchased two of these, both exactly the sizes advertised, easy to cut, good thickness and plush, no problematic folds or creases, but the second one did have thin plastic shreds throughout. I assume this is because they use recycled materials and it seems harmless, but looked out of place.

Just what we were looking for. It’s nice and cushy and was easy to cut a few inches off of the ends to fit under the new area rug. The half inch pad makes such a big difference compared to the quarter inch pad. It’s much better if you plan to spend any time on the floor, like we do.

Soft and cushiony under our rug! Its not exactly 11' square, just shy 1/4" if that matters to you.

UPDATE: I did have to purchase some heavy duty double stick carpet tape because it slid ever so slightly but enough to see the pad underneath. It doesn’t slip so much you’d fall but isn’t as secure as I orignally thought. Still a great quality pad. We’ve been using it for a couple months now and it still feels good underfoot. The 3/8 inch was perfect for my needs. I have the “Morebes Black Rug Runners for Hallways with Rubber Backing” rug from Amazon that has a nice soft feel to touch but had zero padding and felt like we were walking on a bare floor. The felt padding gives it more of a carpet feel. It is sturdy with a nice rubber grip. My rug doesn’t slide around but it has a rubber backing of it’s own. It looks great and works well and will hold up for many years with good care. See my video for a closer look. *This “might” be a tripping hazard for older adults or those with poor balance. A wheelchair should go over it fairly easily if that’s a concern.

Does not come accurately cut to size and does not provide traction on vinyl floors. This pad slides around beneath the rug so much I really don’t think it was worth purchasing.

Thick rug pad perfect for our 9 x 12 rug. It’s only held down by one sofa but so far no slippage. It is soft on foot, but not ULTRA cushy. When paired with our medium-pile rug it’s soft enough for our little one to crawl and play on.

Fast shipping and quality product. Was a list concerned when we first got them that they may be too thick and show under the area carpet; however, they did not. Trimmed 2" off both the length and width thus leaving a bit of space for the carpet to rest properly against the floor. The pad protects the floor very well and gives a comfortable base to walk on, making even an inexpensive carpet feel like it cost much more. A great purchase!

Je viens de recevoir ce sous tapis et quelle différence. Mon tapis se voit rehausser d'environ 1/2 pouces de confort. Vraiment satisfait de cet achat et je le recommande. Belle qualité de feutre moelleux à souhait et prolongera certainement la vie de mon tapis en plus de le rendre encore plus moelleux.

This pad really cushions under a rug. I used a plastic one before and it made marks on my hardwood. People have commented how soft it feels. It came very quickly and was easy to cut to size.
