Review: Very happy purchase - Very happy with this purchase! Having just purchased new bike I wanted to get everything I needed straight away and to be ready before the nights draw in and the darkness sneaks up on me. I chose this light set based on the positive reviews and the great price. I wasnโt disappointed - the quality is great, and they genuinely feel well made. Having been on the receiving end and being blinded by overly bright LED bike lights I love the fact that this is so easy to switch between light levels as I hate the thought of annoying other pedestrians in the same way! The sensor setting which automatically adjusts the light levels when it gets darker is awesome... itโs bound to come in handy when you find yourself leaving work when its still relatively light but very quickly find yourself in darkness. The little red back light is great too. Easy to switch on and easy to select between the 3 light options (bright, very bright & flashing). when you set off when you set off. Installation was simple and took me a few minutes. The main light fixes to your handlebars easily and has a great adjustability so you can direct the light in just the perfect direction. I tend to carry a pannier bag on the back of my bike so couldnโt really fix the back light on the bar under the seat without the light being blocked... no problem though as the flexible fixing band allowed me to fix it to the middle of the static reflector. Security wise both lights are easy to take on and off when leaving your bike anywhere and with the included pouch you can keep everything neatly in one place. I havenโt had much of a chance to test how long the charge lasts but everything points to it being a fair a amount of time โ in fact I have already used it as a power bank to charge my phone for 4 hours and the charge indicator is still showing nearly full charge. Overall I would genuinely recommend this product to anyone looking for a well-priced and well-made light set for their bike.
Review: You get what you pay for. - Been using these for a while now. At first I was impressed, but over time I've been getting less and less so. Front light lasts about 3 days on flashing mode, daily use. So I get about 5 hours from a full charge. When it's on, it's great. Bright, adjustable, and much better than my battery powered older light. Back light, at this stage, I get about 3 hours from a full charge. There's also something odd about the charging port on it, not all of my cables stay connected to it. Takes a lot longer to charge than the front one also. And there's no indicator to let you know that the battery is dying. Numerous times, I've arrived at my destination, and the light has switched itself off. I thought maybe I just had a faulty rear light, but I bought two sets of these, and the other back is just the same. So I'm not overly impressed. I'm glad I didn't pay more than I did, but I suspect I'll be replacing them before long as I need more reliable lights for my commute.
