I bought this sterling silver Claddagh necklace as a birthday gift for a 23-yr-old young lady, who happens to be of Irish descent. I was afraid it wouldn't arrive in time for her birthday, but it shipped fast and arrived two days ahead of schedule. The necklace was a winner! She loved it, immediately put it on, and wears it every day now. It is a quality and stunning piece of jewelry, and the size is perfect. The sterling silver is beautifully polished and sparkles. The only suggestion that I would make to Solvar is to maybe include a little history of the Claddagh. Since not everyone is familiar with the Claddagh, I included a brief rendition of my own (below). I'm glad I did, as now she not only has a beautiful piece of Irish jewelry, but also a meaningful piece of Irish heritage, as well. The Claddagh Necklace is just perfect, rich looking, excellent quality workmanship and delicately detailed. I couldn't be more pleased.After I ordered I had concerns about it arriving in time as I needed it by a specific date. I reached out to the seller via email and not only did Tammie respond via email BUT she followed up with a telephone call to make sure I received the message. I was amazed someone not only would follow up the same day but with two methods. She had checked with the USPS and was assured I would receive it in plenty of time. Tammie was so pleasant in response to my inquiry. Two days later I was very surprised to find the necklace in our mailbox. Yes, I gave them a five because they deserve it! I would never hesitate to order from this seller again!

I was pleasantly surprised when my sister-in-law opened her present. I was a little nervous because of past on line jewelery purchases. But, in the box we found a beautiful, almost delicate looking necklace. It was a little bit smaller than I thought it would be but it was perfect just the way it was. For the money, it was an excellent purchase. I will probably be buying additional jewelery from this vendor here on Amazon in the future!

The first one that I ordered arrived tarnished, so I sent it back and replaced it. The second one arrived in great condition, and is a beautiful necklace.

This pendant is real silver, not plated in silver. It is small but not delicate, very pretty and very usable on a daily basis.

It tarnished. I bought one before that I lost, but it never had to be polished before wearing it once. Here are pics, you can see other metals threw it. I have never wrong it and the chain is fine, no discoloration. Extremely Disappointed especially for the cost. I wish I had a chance to return it considering it turn that way after opening it once now for pictures a second time. Do Not buy !!

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. It looks beautiful, and our granddaughter loved it.
