Rome: A 3D Keepsake Cityscape (Panorama Pops)

I found this in a bookstore in Rome and I chose to buy it from Amazon. This book is so cute! It brought me back my trip in Rome.

So fun! I gave this to my 8 year old daughter as a different sort of First Communion gift. It highlights several Catholic sites in Rome, and since she's never been there, it turned a place she'd never been to into a place she wants to go! This has made talking about the Pope and the Vatican more relatable to her. It is a charmingly well-illustrated pop-up panorama of Rome and gives just enough info on each site.

This is a small book in a protective box that unfolds accordion-like so that you have a long, two-sided series of pop-up scenes from Rome. This is nicely made with good materials. Scenes depicted are: St. Peter's basilica, Vatican City, Castel Sant'Angelo, Villa Borghese, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Capitoline Museums, the Roman Forum, the Colosseumand Vittorio Emanuele II Monument. Each page has a short paragraph about the place. There are also two cartoon maps of city sections. This is not useful as a city guide, particularly, but it is a sweet little memento, especially for children who have visited or are going to visit.

I found these pop-up accordion books while traveling and love gifting them to my nieces and nephews. They're small and compact for stashing in a bag and have some really neat info included. Wonderful educational gift!

If you love Rome you will adore this precious little Pop up book. Contains all of my favorite places in Rome.

These are tiny and adorable! The artwork is extremely detailed and beautiful. I purchased for my 4 year old nephew.
