It did exactly what it was supposed to: act as a vessel for the wax ink. Genuine zebra part.

Prints well but misses some areas
I use this ink roll with my ZEBRA GK420t and 95% of the time it works flawlessly. When I'm printing a lot at once, I get a few labels where the ink doesn't transfer properly causing me to reprint more labels. Other than that issue, the quality is good.

ribbon did not perform
For some reason the ribbon printed very faint letters. Not sure I replaced with other brand and was ok. Not using the purchased ribbon.
