Canon Powershot SX70 HS 4K Video Digital Camera + Advanced Accessory Kit

My husband bought this for himself. He is a camera buff and just loves the 60X zoom. Especially loves the fact doesn't have to lug around and keep changing lenses. Says his other camera allows all of the settings so there is naturally more control of the pic, but this Cannon, does a great job and is easy to use. Does not like online manuals, but has no choice, all manufacturers are doing the same! Highly recommend this great camera. He did contact customer service because of some missing items, but had no problem with getting it corrected. The warehouse evidently messed up, but the CS rep was nice enough to get us a tracking number the second time we contacted him, because the 1st replacement never arrived. They were easy to work with and hassle free!

I purchased this camera from Amazon because they have and easy and honest return policy. It would have been great to find one on Amazon without the so called accessory pack which is TOTAL GARBAGE.... much worse than expected. The spare battery is awful, the memory cards are way too slow, and every other piece was just junk. But after reading reviews on other companies I had to stick with Amazon and pay more for the junk package I never wanted. The Camera is amazing. I would have given it five stars if i had been able to buy it for a better price without the junk package. I had been using the SX50 for years (was on my second one) and the reviews you see of people whining and complaining are just not true. All you need is to know how to use it. I hand hold the camera at full zoom range without a problem and I am not young or strong.

First of all I generally like this camera. It has so far given me good service and is much lighter in weight than most bridge cameras. The images are generally sharp.The down side? Some functions are not as intuitive as in Nikon bridge cameras, it generally does not do well in dimer light and you have to buy and adapter for filters.Generally a good backup camera though and it puts less strain on the neck.

I've had several Canon cameras over the years and this one is just as great as the past ones. I love the wi-fi feature that allows me to send the photos to my phone or laptop. And a new favorite feature is I can set the camera up for a selfie/group shot and use my phone to take the photo so everyone can be included! Everything that is featured in the photo was included. I've tested everything out and it's all working. Shipping was quick and it arrived a week earlier than was given during check out. Ready to head out into nature and take some photos!

As per their advertisement, there is NO 16GB card, NO additional battery pack, NO USB card reader. I'm irritated because part of my buying decision was based on the advanced accessory kit. Giving them two stars may be overrated.

i just received this camera yesterday. i've owned canon powershot sx50's and sx 60's for years. the sx70 has changed so that the sx50/60 battery no longer fits in this camera, which would not be a problem except that the promised additional battery was not included in the package, which i was counting on. also there is no usb cord to attach camera to computer to download photos. i'm sure it takes great photos because my previous powershots did, but the lack of vital accessories, including those that were supposed to be part of the package, has left me feeling not so good about this purchase.

where replacing sx50, this new sx70 is the best camera so far, takes amazing pictures, the zoom works great on long shots, would recommend this to anybody that wants an all-around camera

What an Amazing camera this is. I dragged it all around through the national parks of southern Utah and was able to capture some incredible pictures. I love the zoom.
