This is such a great idea!! I have had more than a few of the vent/windshield/dash mount holders over the last couple years and they always seem to be a hassle. They either break or fall apart or off the surfaces.What I really like about this mount is that it is really versatile, and can be mounted onto ALOT of things! I'm not sure why they show it being stuck to a steering wheel of a car, but it does fit! I have tired mounting to my bike handlebars and it seems to fit best without any of the "adjustment rubbers". With even the smallest one on, it moves too much.I have only three minor complaints.1) With the way it is designed, the vent option is a bit of work to accomplish, although it does stay snug once you get it there. (See #3 as well for vents).2) The cutouts for securing the phone itself are only about 3/8" in width and with a heavy duty case on, it does not hold the phone as well. I trimmed mine with a razor blade to fit my case.3) I wished there was a way of rotating the main "C" holder, besides just rotating 360 degrees. With the vent option, depending upon how you get it to attach, the phone might be tilted too far up.Aside for those items, this is a GREAT idea. I also like that this can double as a hands-free stand for your phone, and it is way more portable than the clip on vent holders.

It’s the perfect idea for my car that doesn’t have a gps. I like the fact that I can use my phone as my gps right in front of me.

I've had this mount for the better part of a month, and it is hands-down the best phone mount I've ever bought for a myriad of reasons.- It's so EASY; the design is sleek and intuitive making aesthetically pleasing and fairly discrete in my all-black interior.- It clicks into position when rotated around, at crazy close intervals. This is great if you have a little bit of glare or it feels like the phone is juuuuust slightly lopsided. The ratcheting mechanism keeps the phone in place firmly but has enough give to make rotating your phone a non-hassle.- Removal is a breeze. When I charge my phone, I like to tuck it under my thigh so I don't have to worry about the cord wrapping around. If I DO have it on the steering wheel, however, it's not that hard to maneuver it around the wheel. I don't recommend this with your phone plugged in.- Having your phone on the steering wheel makes distracted driving MUCH less dangerous. You can see everything without really having to move your line-of-sight off the dash/road. It makes inputting data on Google Maps (and admittedly, texting) a lot easier, especially because the phone is rock solid in place. The times I've had to input information into my phone with this mount, I haven't had to take my eyes off the road.If your vehicle supports this, I highly recommend syncing your phone via bluetooth for calls/music and using voice input for your text messages. I've essentially made using my phone a completely hands-free endeavor while still being able to touch and see the screen when necessary. This little device has completely changed my driving experience. I love it.The only little qualm I have is that I'm short in a car with long pedals, so I have to sit close to the steering wheel. If my wheel is turned so that this is on the bottom, when I get out my leg knocks into it because it sticks forward about three inches. All-in-all, a negligible inconvenience.EDIT: I've had this for about a year and a half now and used it back and forth between my bike and my car. In the Texas heat, it finally split apart where the top section and the bottom section are glued together. All in all, I feel like I got my money's worth. I would buy this again.

I originally bought this to go on my steering wheel after buying multiple suction car phone holders that I wasn't satisfied with. I would recommend on the steering wheel as it gets in the way, especially if you are charging your phone. I am able to still use it though and I'm happy for the most part. It's holds the phone secure enough for use in a car. If you do use it on a steering wheel, it takes a minute to put on since you have to open the clamps pretty wide. You can use this vertically or horizontally.

Bought this mount a couple weeks back. Immediately put it on the stem of my road bike. 2 second installation. Crazy easy! My LG G3 has a large sport protective case on it, and it mounted on it perfect. Just spread the large jaws and it fits right in the non-slip grip/grooves. Another 2 seconds. In 4 seconds I had installed the mount and mounted my phone. This mount is unbelievably simple. Another advantage of this mount, is the adapters. It comes with a couple adapters for different size mounting needs. The mount also has a swivel head on it, which enables you to mount your phone either horizontally or vertically. Pretty neat. Everything is non slip, so the mount stays in place while I ride my bike. The only problem I have run into at this moment, is vibration. When I ride on rough/coarse road surfaces, my phone can vibrate and move slowly in the mount, as I have it mounted vertically, and it is at a slight downward angle. If I had it mounted horizontally, I probably would not have this issue, but I don't have room to mount it horizontally, due to my GPS unit and headlight. Not the fault of the mount. I just keep an eye on it and it is very easy to adjust on the fly, and while pedaling. When on normal tarmac, the phone never moves and stays right in place. I would not use this mount for when I am out on the rough trails with my mountain bike though. I know this is advertised as a "car mount", but I honestly have not used it in my car, and do not plan on that. To sum this review up, this is a sturdy, easy to use mount. It is rare when I get a product that is this simple and yet works so well. I highly recommend this product. Great bang for the hard earned dollar!

excellent to avoid getting hand exhausted holding the cellular telephone while reading for a long time when clipped on the steering wheel. superb clipping power for both the steering wheel and the air condition vent.

I have two of these, easy to mount or dismount, can be fitted to hold varios phones. Really helpful to keep the kids in order during long drives

I purchased a new golf cart and I couldn't find a place to securely attach my Garmin Approach. I found this awesome gadget and I tell you it is so PERFECT. Holds nice and snug. Trying it out tomorrow, will only update my review if not satisfied. 🤞

After a little seat adjustment(I drive a little close to the steering wheel) this little rig did its job.I found it very useful when using maps,it does not obscure sight and holds the phone well even when the road is bumpy .Happy with it.
