Will always use these Loofah sponges
Our household has been getting rid of plastic everywhere we can. No plastic bottles, no plastic food containers, and now no plastic to wash dishes. I have tried all kinds of eco sponges, so these loofah sponges were next. We do not have a dishwasher by choice. Don't like the chemicals a dishwasher leaves on all the items. I was surprised on how well these work. It scrubs well, holds it's shape well after it is wet. It doesn't fall apart. It bends well to scrub corners, rims, inside of glasses, scrubs utensils, pots and pans. It rinses well. Dries well, no mold and it doesn't get smelly. I have a sponge holder inside my sink that I place this loofah on it to drip dry. On really stuck on burnt stuff, I let the pots/pans soak, and then scrub away. I will never buy other sponges again. So far it has done the job well and its great for the environment. I highly recommend these. Much better then those coconut fiber sponges. These loofahs are a win win.

eco friendly
hey do a great job scrubbing dishes, pots, and pans without scratching, while still being tough enough to remove stuck on food. I love that they’re made from 100% natural loofah and are biodegradable and compostable, which fits perfectly with a zero waste lifestyle. They hold up surprisingly well over time, don’t fall apart quickly, and dry fast, which helps prevent odors. I also use them as a vegetable scrubber, and they work perfectly for cleaning produce without damaging the skin. The fact that they are plastic-free and eco friendly makes them an easy swap from traditional sponges. Simple, effective, and better for the environment.

Pretty good
I like that these are more sustainable, more economical, they’re natural, soft, they don’t get smelly quick at all (they do have a bit of a natural scent when fresh which I actually kinda like), they hold up pretty well, they’re thinner and flexible, easy to hang and drip dry, the texture is easy on your hands, and I think the size is about perfect. They’re like the perfect mix between washcloth and sponge, in my opinion. However, I’m trying to replace Scrubdaddy with them and I have to say that they lose to that in scrubbing power. I just can’t get my pots and pans quite clean whereas they’re a breeze with a Scrubdaddy. They do most other dishes just fine but not great on anything baked or dried on. So for now I’m torn. I’m going to switch back and forth between them for a while to see which one I’ll settle with (I’m also experimenting with soaps which might affect its performance too), but regardless, it’s really a pretty good sponge all in all. Worth a try for sure!

A win all around
Man, these are wonderful. Not only are they eco-friendly, but they have a decent abrasiveness to them, without being too hard/ scratchy. They lather well. They don't stink. They expand a lot, so the dry ones don't take up a ton of space. I don't know why we moved away from loofahs. Especially in favor of weird plasticky sponges. If you do a lot of heavy duty scrubbing, these wouldn't suit your needs, but for the majority of daily uses, these are my new go-to.

Great start towards sustainable living!
I was looking for a more eco friendly option to replace my dish scrub when I came across this. I was unsure of its scrubbing power, but it proved me so wrong !! It lathers up nice, scrubs amazingly well.!! It is such a versatile pad, it is firm when dry and soft when wet. The left piece in the picture attached is after using it aggressively for 20 days and the right piece is brand new. I thought it would disintegrate but boy I was so wrong! It has no foul smell and no food scraps stuck in the fibers. I am so happy with my purchase. To get more bang for your buck, I would suggest getting the whole loofah and cutting it into desired lengths. I have even replaced my plastic bath loofah with this and I am loving it! When you wet it with warm water it becomes very soft and doesn’t scratch your body as you would imagine. My skin has become so smooth!! Best purchase!!

Does the job, make sure to soak in water first.
I have been trying to use fewer plastic items in my kitchen, so switching to a biodegradable sponge was an easy decision. It arrives a little stiff but softens up wonderfully under warm running water. It has the perfect amount of texture to scrub away stubborn food without scratching my pots and pans. It dries out incredibly fast after you wash your dishes, which totally prevents any weird smells from building up. I really love that I can just throw it in my compost bin when it is finally time for a new one. I totally recommend giving this a try if you want a natural way to keep your dishes and counters spotless.

Seems okay
I wanted to try natural loofah before attempting to grow my own. This pack seems like it will last a long time though. They are cut into really thin slices, but do swell up some when wet. Has a square shape so it’s still small, but enough to scrub with. The loofah material hasn’t shredded on me after a week of use so far. I prefer reusable towels for my own dishes, but like to have a sponge on hand to wash cat dishes separately. Loofah is non-toxic, so if it continues to work well, it probably is better for us than the usual plastic based sponges. Growing your own would be even more cost effective long term though. I’m not sure if this is common to loofah in general, or if these were treated with something before being sold, but there’s almost a rubber like feeling to the material when wet? Doesn’t affect the scrubbing ability though. It’s been enough to get dried out food off their ceramic bowls without leaving scratches behind. Just seemed odd so wanted to mention it. I would imagine the material’s raw otherwise since it matches the natural tan color I’ve seen the plants come out before.

Long lasting
Scrubs nicely and is very long lasting, but for some reason my dish soap just keeps disappearing into it. I have to waste a lot of soap because it's a little too absorbent.

demasiado delgadas, muy caras
Es esponja natural, pero sumamente cara para lo delgadas que vienen las esponjas, no se puede lavar nada con ellas por lo delgadas
