Both pitchers were defective.
I bought one of these and found that it had a defect--an unglazed spot on the inside that stained black with iced tea. Because I liked the design, I returned the pitcher and ordered another one, with a request to the company to check it for defects before sending the replacement. The second pitcher also had an unglazed spot on the interior, and also a crack in the exterior glaze running from the top of the handle to the bottom of the handle. I conclude that these pitchers are poorly made, despite the nice colorful design.

Beautiful pitcher
Very nice. Exactly as pictured. Really like the size. Wanted a medium pitcher, not too large and not too small. It is just perfect!

I have had this a few months now, and I love it. It's beautiful and holds PLENTY of water for the dinner table. My only complaint is that it sweats quite a bit when there's ice in it, but that's to be expected with anything like this.

Nice, yet quality questionable
The pitcher is really beautiful. Unfortunately, as I was washing it the first time, hot water (not very hot) splashed on it and the pitcher cracked. The description said that the picture was Temperature resistant. The pitcher was room temperature at the time and the hot was out of the tap and not very hot. The pitcher also chipped and it was not suppose to do that either.
