I am hypothyroid, so I do not eat a lot of carbs as that keeps weight on, and I have a gluten allergy, so I am not getting a lot of fiber in my diet. I was looking for a fiber supplement but I find many to be gritty or taste bad. This is organic, ALL natural, gluten, dairy and soy free. If you get this one, it also does not have any sugar. The flavored Skinny Gut, does have sugar.Skinny Gut helps keep me full longer so I do find that I am eating less. It also helps to keep me regular and bulk up the stool for easy passing.I find there is NO TASTE to this which is great. Other reviews says this does not mix well in water, but that is not true. It mixes very well without any grit or gelling up the water. BUT you do have to leave it sit for a period of time to dissolve completely. I usually place it in water when I get up in the morning and after getting ready I drink it before heading out the door. It is brown in color, which is the natural color. It looks like a light iced tea.I am very impressed with this product and will continue to purchase it and use it in my daily routine!

Wonderful product that does as it says!! However, I am seeing a lot of complaints about it clumping up and not dissolving...which is true if you don't drink it immediately. Fiber products get clumpy and gooey if left in fluid (that's what they do in our stomachs and they expand which is why people feel fuller faster) and a quick search would say just that. It gets the job done, but drink it quick! And honestly, this is supposed to be a "non-thickening" product, but if you compare it to how thick psyllium husk powder gets after a minute this slightly thickening acacia is nothing to be alarmed about, trust me.

Acacia fiber is made from organic fiber and comes from the gum of the acacia tree. It is also used as a prebiotic, which means that it increases good gut flora (the friendly bacteria in the gut). If you need it to dissolve it works best by adding a little hot water to it first, and then add that to your liquid. I did notice a slight 'rustic' taste to this brand of Acacia fiber. You'll notice the label doesn't say it's tasteless. It's not to bad but it should be noted. I would rank this as my second favorite fiber, with my favorite as being from Benefiber. The main reason is that Benefiber mixes much better and has no taste at all. However it does cost more, which is why I go to walmart and get their Equate fiber. It's the same (Dextrin) fiber and cost much less. Whatever fiber you decide to use just make sure you take it everyday, and try to take it with a good probiotic. Your health, and therefore your life will improve greatly.

It does what it claimed it does. I have the most terrible IBS ever experienced since fatal car accident that happened in 2013. My IBS messed up with many medicines, stopped working out and hard time going to bathroom. I know it might be too much information, but it really terrible that I never want to go through again. I tried several fibers with powder, capscules, etc nothing makes my IBS more regularlity until I saw this and gave a try. In few days, I started to have more regularly that is almost daily. It really works, I like how this does not thicken when I drink it, does not give me bloating feeling like other fibers would do. I will continue using this for my IBS's sake. I use this in my smoothie. Love it.

I have used several Renew Life products for years and have always been impressed with the quality. This product, however, completely misses the mark. First off, it DOES NOT dissolve in ANY liquid regardless of the temperature. It clumps into a thick, sticky goo that leaves an oily/slimy residue. It reminds me of the texture and consistency of peanut butter. Not at all what I was expecting...it will be going in the trash because it is a non-refundable item on Amazon. Grrrr! I hate to waste money and that's exactly what happened. I don't know if the product is supposed to be like that or if it's just a bad batch...I would like to think that it was just a bad batch, but I am not going to risk wasting my money again by ordering another on to find out. I didn't even attempt to try it so I can't comment on anything else.

i find that it's better to put this acacia powder in a glass and add cold water and stir. Then there is no problem with it dissolving. Next time i plan to try the fruit flavored one. This one has almost no taste though. It is easy to drink with the Skinny Gut Diet.

Love this stuff! I drink some in the AM in my tea and has been a major factor in fixing my IBS/bad gut with diarrhea ! Has little to no taste, goes great with hot tea. This plus some diet changes, anti gas meds and peppermint pills and I am back to normal! YIPPEE!There are other Acacia fibers out there but I love that it's organic and was the best price I could find.If you are looking for gut help, seriously, try it. I'm on my second bottle. (As far as diet issues I can't speak to that, it was recommended to me to help my IBS D not as a weight loss help since I am underweight a bit.)Good luck to all.

I have had this approximately a week now. I love it! Yes, lesson learned to put the powder in before adding liquid. Blends beautifully, no taste. It does what it is intended to do. In the event you put a bigger helping than you intended, probably should rethink activities for the day. In other words, there's a whole lot to be said for indoor plumbing!
