I was looking for a bbq seasoning without all the added sugars that I could put on different dishes. My son likes to cook, but sometimes he forgets to add seasoning, so I also needed something that could go in before or after a dish was cooked. I've also used this on popcorn.Pros: The flavor isn't overpoweringly sweet at all. It's a good smoky flavor that adds just enough bbq taste that it satisfies my cravings for bbq potato chips. Since I'm always craving them, that's pretty amazing.Cons: The container I received will expire in November 2016, and i ordered it in August 2016. That means I have to hurry up and eat it all or waste the rest if it isn't good anymore.I'll look for this in a physical store in the future so I can see the expiration date before I buy it. It's definitely a tasty seasoning I'm happy to add to my kitchen.

It has taste to it

We use this rub on chicken thighs and boneless pork ribs. It's delicious and has no carbs, which is perfect for us Atkins folks.

Very nice flavor. On the sweeter side. Goes well with chicken, beef or pork. Margaritaville always delivers a superior product!

I'd give this rub six stars if i could, i've used it on EVERYTHING since I got it. Flavor rocks! Zucchini? Boosted. Chicken? Epic! Steak? Oh, yeah! Scallops? Bring it on! Potatoes? Rock my world! You will LOVE it!

Enjoy using this spice. Works well in whatever I cook and not too salty, so that's a plus.
