WiFi Plug 1 Pack White

So I just received the wi-fi outlets today (2/10/2019) download the app and connected all outlets fine. I see everyone has rated the wif-fi outlets 5 stars I beg to differ as I maybe the only person perhaps wanting to use these on appliance that have a 3 prong plug (small heater, tv etc) vs the smaller appliance 2 prong plugs traditional lamps, charger etc. With that being said that is where my issue is and where the product NEEDS improvement (see attached photos) pretty self explanatory.I tried all 8 outlet plugs that I ordered all are about the same some worst than other none fit flushed, NOT HAPPY! Definitely a fire hazard as well so unless for wanting to plug any anything that is a 3 prong. I mean I tried to plug the 3 prong appliance in pushing it in as far as I can and as hard as I can but that's all she's willing let me get in lol Anyhow unless I just happen to have a bad batch of outlets? NOTHING GREAT ABOUT THESE. But be warm stay away from using any 3 prong plug=FIRE HAZARD, only if you want to burn down your house.I bought these over other brands that I have tried already due to them having the 15A that I need for some appliance but again now it's nothing extraordinary about these outlet other than the expensive over price tag on them!UPDATE: No choice but to return these POS =) ZERO STARS =)

This device worked well until I lost the app needed to setup and program it. Without the app you cannot connect to your WiFi network. If you can't connect it to WiFi, none of the features will be available. No voice control is possible by Alexa or Google Home. Amazon should discontinue selling these unless they are going to provide an app to set it up.

My mom has been wanting to get Smart plugs for her home however she's not so tech savvy say the least so I got these hoping this would be easy to install and actually work with her Alexa. Good news they do and setup was super easy, takes only about 10mins for setup if done correctly.When I first went to connect i I entered my wifi password wrong and had to reset the plug in.*note- if you need to factory reset like I had too you hold power button down on smart plug in for 5 secs, than it will start blinking and you'll heard a click it's reset itself*So if you enter everything in right the first time it's really easy.To set this up: you need to download the enther app in your Google or apple app in my case I downloaded mine through apple app.It than takes you step by step having you create a enther account than you follow instructions that it says, it takes only minutes to complete just make sure plug is close to router and your standing next to plug while completing the installation as it will speed the process up.After that is complete if you want to use it with Amazon you need to go into your Amazon Alexa app. Add the skills Mocess app the username and password is the same as what you used to create the enther app login.Follow the instructions and you'll be able to tell Alexa to turn lights for example and it will turn them on.It's pretty awesome. If your using it with a lamp you'll want to turn the light on and plug into the smart plug. Than give Alexa the command to turn off.I'm very pleased with this product and quite surprised how easy it was for setup. Not to mention since this is a knock off brand from the more expensive smart products I really was unsure if It was going to connect to Alexa or not, but it does and it didn't cost me a fortune to go smart and you get (2) in the package.

These plugs have worked great. I was kind of apprehensive when I ordered these because all the reviews were from people who got the product for free, so there's an incentive to leave positive reviews, but in this case they are justified.The software was was a little different in the fact that you not only need to download the app, but you also need to add a skill for these to work. Maybe that's why other brands I tried all failed, no skill was added.Others I tried would turn on and off by themselves and kept dropping the signal.I've used these for about a month and a half now and haven't had a single issue.3/15/19 UPDATE: I've had two plugs fail with in a couple days of each other. It's odd because I can turn them on and off from the Alexa app on my phone but not through Alexa.

Those plugs work great. They do require to install a skill to work with Alexa though (But that's pretty easy to do). Usually for that price you get only one plug. It's a great deal, really like those plugs!Edit: after a few months of using, I changed the rating from 5 to 4 stars.- Using google home with these smart plug doesn't work. While it should be working, it seems enther's authentication system has an issue.- I love the enther app, very useful and it's nice to set routines. For example at night I feel bad leaving a fan plugged all night, I can set a routine so that it starts every hour for 20 minutes, very useful!

I just installed the Enther Home app from the Google Play store. (App had only 100 downloads and two (2) reviews!!!). Upon installation, the app asked me to select the default home screen!? It offered my existing screen as one choice, and their alternate. It would not accept my choice to keep my existing Home screen. When I chose their option, the app hijacked my Samsung home screen! I navigated to Settings and uninstalled the app. I've installed many apps, most recently an Amazon Smart Plug (easy as can be; no bizarre requirements!), and a myQ remote garage door system. The Enther app scared the cr*p out of me. Unfortunately, I bought 4 of these 4 months ago, and am just now getting around to installing them due to travel requirements. Can't return them, and I would never offer to sell them to anyone. If the Mfg. wants to contact me to explain what happened, I'm willing to listen.

Prácticos enchufes caben los dos muy bien en una placa de dos contactos sin estorbar; se pueden programar con reloj o timer. Lástima que la App Enther Home no está disponible en nuestro país (MX) y no se pueden controlar por voz a través de Alexa...

Me costo un poco de trabajo poder configurarlo para poder manejarlo con google asistance, no es un producto para cualquier persona, pero funciona muy bien, aunque el alcanze no es tanto, recomiendo usarlo en la misma habitacion donde se encuentra el modem

El producto cumple con su funcion, buenos materiales y facil configuracion con la app desde el celular, desafortunadamente alexa mexico con cuenta con el skill "enther home" que es la app con la que se controlan estos contactos

Pensé que no cumpliría mis expectativas, pero los SmartPLugs cumplen, los puedes controlar con la aplicación que te indican y ya una vez configurados puedes agregarlos a tu sistema de Google Home Mini o Alexa, el único tema que le veo mal es que solo funcionan con redes 2.4ghz.
