Fantastic epic story!
I absolutely love this whole series--it's such a huge swatch of the DC universe, with Batman Beyond (one of my favorites!) at the center. Some of the storylines are a little far-flung, and if you don't have at least a cursory knowledge of the wider parts of the DC universe, especially in the New 52 context, it might be a little hard to follow, but it all flows pretty well around a grim futurepunk-type story. Some of the reviews on this and later volumes mention that the trilogy doesn't have a complete ending. It does round out this story decently well, but it's very open-ended for what comes next, which feels intentional--I really loved the lead-in to Dan Jurgen's New 52 run on Batman Beyond. I actually read the three Batman Beyond volumes that follow this first, then went right into the current Rebirth runs and came back to read this to round everything out. If you do want a complete storyline, I'd recommend starting here (or even going back to the World's End volumes that are an earlier storyline), following into the three Batman Beyond books that follow (Brave New Worlds, City of Yesterday, and Wired for Death by Dan Jurgens) then heading into Rebirth, which has an absolutely excellent follow-on to this while bringing things back to a more Batman Beyond status quo.All in all, super epic!

pick this up!
With a first issue that hooks you in and keeps you there until you are finished with the volume, I highly recommend this volume. I was very skeptical of DC doing weekly books but after reading this, Batman Eternal and Earth 2 Worlds End I am very happy with what they have been doing. This is a book for people that like big radical things happening in books. The only negative I can say about the book is sometime it switches between the characters mini stories a bit too much. I also love that Red Robin and Mister Terrific play parts in the story.

The good stuff was great
While most of the book was a drag, I absolutely loved the Lois, Red Robin, masked Superman story arc and all parts connected to it. The epic final battle between masked Superman and the reveal at the end was worth reading the entire volume.

The fruitful harvest of a forlorn future unfolds!
Awesome mystery. Well written. Love the eclectic array of heroes involved and the intricately woven stories that bring them together. If you're looking for an action packed thriller, this isn't for you. But if you're interested in digesting a rich complexity of well aged literature... Pull up a chair and enjoy.

It's an Event.
I bought this because my son wanted to catch up with it -- and though it's really well done, it's also clearly editorially driven and that drives me crazy. Lemire is a great writer, but the tolls of a weekly event series get pretty obvious. I'll buy Volume 2 because I'm a completist and my son wants to know how it all ends, but it's often dark just for the sake of being dark.

Pretty good
I could see why some people aren't very happy with this book but I thought it was really good in its own way. Recommend to any batman beyond fan looking for new stuff!

I loved this book.
I was first introduced to this series through Futures End #0, a free comic in the Play Bookstore. I loved the opening and had to keep reading.

Volume in lingua originale del new 52
The media could not be loaded. Ottimo team creativo. In lingua originale.

Excelente

Friends can't be trusted
Futures End definetly has a great base, thrilling introduction and one of the better tease books I've read. There isn't any real memorable fight scenes but it's complexity is what draws you in. So many plots and side story's make you guess what's going to happen. The new characters are a lot smarter than most, they seem to have forgotten about the boring ones which is good. The 400+ pages dosn't hurt either which can easily make a 5 day read. This is a 2 part book so if you just want to see the end your gonna have to wait until July 2015.Good time to get back into comics, great value as well

DC meets Terminator & Borg
