Bought for a friend who just gave me model#. He was very happy with ease of installation and half the price.

Defective item....But the seller was absolutely horrible to deal with. They still won't warranty the failed starter. Instead they are deflecting and saying that it may be faulty fitment. (I've been a diesel mechanic for years. And currently manage a repair shop for for a government enitiy) The starter fits great and I have checked all connections and load tested the battery and system.Amazon ordered a replacement under their A-Z warranty. And then the seller cancelled it. Aparrently they told amazon thye were out of them. But when I contacted the seller they said it was cancelled due to their need to verify fitment. I no longer have the original...So here I sit in the middle of hay season with a tractor I need to pull start.I will never buy from Rare electrical again...Utterly discusted by them. Do yourself a favor and have your original rebuilt by a quality local rebuilder. I wish I had. Money and time wasted.

My old jd starter had been rebuilt and was dragging again.This Starter was delivered on time and fit the unit.At this time i am completely satisfied....hope it will last a long time.

Only lasted a month and a half and it’s already quit working. Very disappointed.
