The media could not be loaded. I have a music workstation with a bunch of nonsense on it. For the longest time I my Mini was in the dark underneath a speaker stand that was behind a mixing board. Now it's back in view with plenty of fresh air to breath and sights to behold.Sorry, I love my computer, that's all.I can 't understand some of the negative reviews. Maybe there are some QC issue at the manufacturer. I didn't find any flaws on my mount that were covered with black marker, and the mount fits a Mac Mini perfectly. As far as scratching from the metal mount is concerned, I don't plan on removing and replacing the computer that much at all so there shouldn't be any scratching. You'd have to torque pretty hard and yank at the wrong angle to cause a scratch on the computer with this mount. Computer slides in nice and easy, no scratchy.I for one am satisfied with the mount I received, and the installation was a breeze. I used my own screws because the ones provided were too long for my purposes, but that's not the fault of the manufacturer. I can't address any issues one reviewer had about screw holes not matching up to a VESA mount, the holes on the one I received measure properly for 75mm and 100mm VESA mounting.I'd buy another. Maybe I will, I have another Mini that could use a more accessible home. And the price is decent. Support USA Made!

I bought this so I could hide my Mac mini under my desk and I’m very happy with this purchase. It comes with the appropriate hardware to attach it to the bottom of your desk or wall. I chose the wall due to my desk top being on the thinner side and made of particle board. I recommend this for the price as it fits the Mac mini great. The value for my money is great and better than other similar items that are more costly. The build quality is good even though it’s only plastic. But it’s light weight and does its job great.

There are a few different options, but this one is worth it in order to save desk space from the HideIt brand. You can affix your Mac Mini sideways on to a wall, horizontally under a desk -- or in my case: on the side of a metal file cabinet. I ended up using cheap, short screws from an Ikea kit since the included screws were much too long. This way the screws don't interfere with the file cabinet's drawer movement. The included screws will work better for thicker wood surfaces. Once its screwed in, it's pretty sturdy, and the Mac Mini likely isn't going anywhere, but......The Caveat: Depending on how you choose to orient your Mac Mini in this mount, you will have to be mindful of the Mac freely sliding out of the non-secured end of the mount -- in most of the images, including mine, you can see the protected end of the mount is at the rear of the Mac below the ports. The opposite end of the mount is open, and there is no locking system to keep the Mac Mini in place inside the mount. In my case the mount is completely level and out of the way of any traffic -- but my Mac Mini could easily slide forward and out of the mount. There are a multitude of ways you can further secure your Mac in the mount -- but it's just fine out of the box.

Since it's steel not plastic, some reviews worried about scratches. My M2 slid in easily, it's a secure fit but not tight. The mount is American made, super sturdy, reasonably priced, a perfect fit, and including screws with wall anchors along with 4mm screws for VESA. My Mini is safely off my desktop and I don't have to look at a spaghetti pile of wires every day. Five stars, unless you use your Mini like a portable, don't worry about scratches.

Worked for both my old 2018 and 2023 (M2) MAC Minis. Love how 1/5 of the mac sticks out, for easy access to all the plug-in sockets, on/off switch, etc. Just be careful not to scratch the outer surface of your MAC Mini as you slide it in or out (but for essentially permanent installations like mine that's easy to manage if you move the MAC in or out slowly). Otherwise the rack is well engineered, clean edges and surfaces, well painted and really the perfect rack for mounting your MAC Mini.
