If you have the correct expectations, this is a FANTASTIC knife!!
These are well build knives. The price point is insane. They are not going to compare with a premium brand that carries a premium price, but for $7 you can lose 10x of these and still be even. I have a bunch scattered about my gear and vehicles. Do I stall carry a premium knife primarily? Yes I do, but these are awesome backups. Pros: - Extremely sharp out the box - Holds an edge fairly well - 420 Stainless = no rush - Well lubed - The assisted opening works AWESOME Cons- - Super Heavy, can weight your pocket down if you're wearing lightweight clothing. Not noticeable with jeans. - Assisted opening nub sticks out farther than I would like, but man does it work well What I really like about this knife? I recently went through TSA with one in my backpack. I was slightly late and didn't check as well as I should have. TSA lady was very nice and showed me where I could mail it home. I said don't worry about it, just throw it out. She said "are you sure, this looks like a really nice knife!" And she's right, but it's so cheap, that I didn't miss my flight, or feel bad. I actually ordered a replacement while boarding! For $7-10 depending on the model, buy em' all day!!!

Great knife. Strong spring, kwik deploy blade , super sharp, good clip. Free shipping to Maine.
These Tac Force knives are great knives. I have bought 3 , so far. Great design and engineering/machinist work is apparent in its smooth operation. Quick deploy blade is a time saver when every moment counts. This duty knife is super sharp and ready for the tasks at hand. I use mine all day , every day. sometimes , Im not so gentle.!! I gave my buddy , AL , this same knife. He is a tough customer and will test a knife to its limits!! He loves it , so far. Im a private buyer. No freebies from Tac Force. I can recommend this knife to anyone . Thumbs up. Thanks, Tac Force

Nice little Knife
This Knife has a nice curve to the cutting edge. Almost like a skinner .It opens with the spring assist very quietly. Just a subtle "snick" sound. The blade steel looks good and cuts well. It has serrations on one half of the blade. I could do with out these as the blade is sharp .enough to cut fabric and seatbelts .Has a seatbelt cutter too ..don't know if it works well or not. Also a window breaker at back of handle.. could work well for making a small dent in a miscreant too. Camo handle with finger grooves is slightly slippery. Might slip in hand if skinning or hands get wet. The linerlock on this one is thicker than on some other Tac -Force knives ..so they have addressed that issue on this model. It has become my everyday carry. I like it better than some of my more expensive knives For the price I don't think you can do better.

Nicely featured knife at a very nice price makes this a great value
I started carrying a knife with me a couple of years ago to use for utility purposes as well as if I ever needed one in an emergency situation (which is what the glass breaker and seatbelt cutter would be useful for). Not wanting to spend a ton on an expensive knife I picked one of these up at a local gun show and love the versatility of it and the usability of it for the price. You don't realize how often you could use a knife until you start carrying one. I would say I wind up using this most often for cutting open packages. It has a nice feel in your hand with the finger contours and the spring assist opens it easily and quickly. Speaking of opening it, I've never been a fan of opening via a thumb stud. It just doesn't feel right to me which is why I love having a knife like this that has the option to open with the index finger switch on the back of the blade. The liner lock is sturdy enough to lock the blade open confidently and easy enough to operate the close without a problem. I wound up buying another of the same knife here on Amazon because I actually misplaced the original one I got at the gun show and because the price here was significantly less than at the show. The knife comes sufficiently sharpened but I do use these fairly often and the blade will of course dull over time. I'm contemplating getting a sharpener to get more life out of them but of course they're cheap enough that you could just replace them once a year or so. Great value
Really nice knife at this price point. Unbelievable really. Spring assist is just right, and the finger flip option works great. The thumb studs don’t work too well because the handle needs to be contoured to accommodate your thumb. Blade is solid, not wobbly. It’s not horribly heavy. The clip is good and well positioned. Belt cutter and glass breaker. It’s really well designed and functional, and a surprising value.

Heck of a deal!
I previously bought the Orange Camo one, and was so impressed with it that I immediately ordered a Brown Camo one for my son. But since I opened it and put it through the paces, I decided to keep it, too. (Yes, I ended up ordering yet a third one, and I promise to give it to him!) I have some expensive Proelias, some moderately pricey Columbia Rivers and Cases, and a bunch of cheap sub-$15 knives. This model is by far the best of the cheapos, which is why I now bought three of 'em. For a $10 knife, the craftsmanship is great, blade sharpness is razor-sharp, and the opening mechanism works fine. No blade wobble, just a solid all-around knife. My new EDC (along with the Orange one)...keep one in my pocket and one in our vehicle.

Beautiful, but lacking a little...
Nice size and balance. I will use it daily for a while and make the final call on it's durability. Its appearance is striking and have friends who have commented on the beauty of the "wood" handle. They are surprised that it is not wood. I sharpened it a little, although it was not too bad upon arrival, and now it is razor sharp and I hope it will retain it's edge with use. If not, at the price paid it is still a good deal, if you do not mind sharpening it every now and then. I wish the handle design had a slight swell to make it more stable in the hand, but of course then the cost would likely be increased, so you give a little to get a little. UPDATE: 3-2015' I gave the first one of these to a lady at a store who nneded a knife for her Dada's birthday and could not afford one. She saw this one and knew he would love it. I bought this one to replace it and I am not disappointed at all. This one is really sharp out of the box and very solid. No blade wobble and the latch seems very positive. GREAT design for an amazing price! Get one today, these are perfect! A bargain of low cost, beautiful design and balance. I will give one as a gift to a regular user of knives and see what he thinks about it as well.

i payed 3 dollars!
bought this off the used sections must have ben back stock or something put it in as an add on to a bigger order and its honestly one of the best knives iv bought in many years. the blade is labeled 440 stainless, evenly weighted unique spring assist, sturdy and well built. the blade is no joke thick and clearly meat for use. not that this is the intended use but i have other folding knives all of which i am quite capable throwing even weight or off and many knife tips are simply bent by the force or made of an inferior desigen and with this protective coating and a thicker half tanto style blade construction the blade does not bend or chip an edge!!! great knife and comes in more colors and patterns than days in the year great buy
