I love the simplicity of this lens. Had a very mild winter in my area so bugs and fungus are getting to my outdoor treed in my nursery. Many of them are too small to identify with naked eye. I've whipped this out when I see an invader and am able to correctly identify the pest and take appropriate steps. Twice now I thought I had what look like pest damage, but turned out to be a fungus thanks to this lens. It is easy to get what you want to look at in the field of view. You focus by moving your eye closer or further away. Too easy. The field of view is large enough that if you're looking at creepy crawleys you're able to see them before they walk out of sight. I also like you don't need to have a thin, slide like sample of what you're looking at. I purchased a "field" microscope at the same time as this as I wasn't sure what I "needed" in my nursery. This is my "go to" out of the bunch due to ease of use. I do use the microscope for fungus once identified with this lens, but that is more out of curiosity than need.Would definitely recommend.

Likes: This little microscope is very sturdy. Seems well built. The view field is crystal clear, and I really like the option of using the blue LED light instead of the bright white LED light. This is an excellent product, especially for the price.Dislikes: I don't have any for this magnifier.

A very nice well built 30x magnifier. It even has a built in light I wasn't aware of when I purchased.

Piece of crap! Replaced batteries twice for less than 10 minutes of service. Bad enough but the configuration requires a stack of hearing aid batteries. How f-U is that?They didn’t mention that in the ad. Rip off.
