It is aqua or turquoise in color. It has a pocket you could slide ID or a single key into. The case’s outside cover feels like leather and the case’s inside cover feels like suede. So far, I like it.

What I did like: the color, the outside pocketWhat I didn’t like: that it has no stand... that it doesn't fit exactly right- the overlapping corner gets in the way of the menu choice. It also sticks out next to the power button, so you have to shimmy it over a little to reach it. I also did not like that it was non-returnable or exchangeable by the seller. Even the Amazon rep didn’t know why, but he took care of me none-the-less. Think twice about what you want in a case and make sure to check return policy of seller.

Item is defective and I can’t return it. Just bought. Buyer beware of this company they don’t take returns

Fits the all-new Kindle paperwhite perfectly. I love this case - it's so pretty, and has a smooth finish so it doesn't have that rough, glittery feeling. The pocket in the front is great as well. So glad I got this case for my new kindle!

After reading a lot of reviews for leather cases that were given 1 star for being made of plastic, I decided on this one because no reviewer said that. That said, the other cases looked exactly like this one, so I figured they were private labeling on cheap China junk. When it came in, I was pleased with the texture of the leather. If it is faux leather, I can't detect it. It feels nice in the hands, and it looks really slick. It makes the Kindle look like an expensive book. It meets my needs and expectations, so I'll give it 5 stars. As far as the single 4 star reviews complaint, it doesn't need an instruction sheet , it is about as self explanatory as a tooth brush.Followup after 1 year of use: I still can't detect any sign of wear, no fading, no worn places, no split seams. I use my Kindle a lot so this one is handles on a daily, and almost hourly basis. I don't go anywhere without it in my pocket or in my car. Tonight I thought I had lost my Kindle, and I was most upset that I lost the case. It also has a nice pocket in the front to put your business card or an address or phone number to call if it is lost. That was some comfort when I feared it was lost. This case is still gorgeous, my Paperwhite still looks new, and since I spend a lot of time in waiting rooms, it looks like I am reading a leather bound book of some sort. This cover is the best bang for the buck I have ever had in a Kindle cover.

I love love love this case. I’ve only had it for 1 day but I’m very pleased with it so far. It looks exactly like the picture, color and looks which was a surprise because things usually don’t in my experience. My kindle feels secure and it fits perfectly in the case.I realized how fragile the kindle was when I had it in my purse without a cover and dropped my keys in the purse. When I pulled out my kindle it had a small dent in the screen. So I haven’t taken it out much but with this I’m excited to take it on the road 😆

This is a leather case that is well made. I would expect to pay a lot more than $13 for a case this nice. It fits my 5th generation Paperwhite (2013) perfectly, and besides looking great, it will protect my kindle if it gets dropped. One feature I love is that when I close it, the kindle turns off. When I open it, the kindle turns on. Don't even need to push the on/off button.It has a lovely pocket in the back, which I use to hold a super thin power pack, so that when I forget to charge it, I can easily and conveniently charge it while I am reading.I got the purple color, and I took the photos in a room without good light, so the deep, rich purple doesn't show well in the photos. But the color is great!

Absolutely love these cases. The fit the newest Paperwhite as well as the previous ones. It has the auto sleep/wake feature and securely holds the reader. Wow it even comes in two colors of glitter. Of the many cases that I have tried I have to admit this is my favorite 👍👍 To top it all off you just can't beat the quality and the price!
